Depends on what ending they make cannon. Arasaka being the easiest to pull off for this to happen. However, I don’t think we should go the Darksouls route (there are others where you face a Player Character as a final boss but it is one of the most popular today and thus recognizable)

I want to play my V in Orion

Nnnope I'm not feeling this one. I unironically don't want a single person to hurt V ever, and I mean ever. Plus it'd make no sense for V to be the final boss because everyone's V is vastly different. It'd make no sense to make V a cyberpsycho since V's immune to becoming a cyberpsycho. It'd make no sense for V to come back to NC to help a mega corp since his whole MO was fighting against megacorps. I like to think ALT would be the final boss, or Adam Smasher's body with Alt's AI running it. A big theme of Cyberpunk's stories is that there's always a bigger fish, so maybe Arasoka came across a Netrunner that's even better than Alt was and they manage to essentially trap Alt in a modified version of Mikoshi, Arasoka takes Smasher's body and implants that trapped Mikoshi Alt into his chasis. Since Mikoshi was used to house engrams of previous legends of Night City, we could make it so that characters like Oda and Takemura come back through Adam's new abilities.

Leave V ambiguous, like no one in Night City knows how they started, what they looked like or how it ended. Set Orion 20 years after 2077, V was such a legend no one is around to know how it ended, or how it started, they are just therioes, some say V was a Corpo, others say Nomad or Street kid. All they know is there was a heist that failed and V was fighting for their life, no one knows their gender or what they looked like, and the endings are spoken like legends, of what became of V.

I think Morgan Blackhand IS Mr. Blue Eyes (or may have been at some point in the writing process), solely based on how important both are narratively with so few answers between them to explain what happened to one and where the other came from. It fits almost perfectly (points from weakest to strongest): 1. Mr Blue Eyes' name has the same amount of consonants as Morgan Blackhand, and both have names referring to a bodypart, showing the same "creative flair" across both characters. 2. Mr Blue Eyes doesn't speak exactly like a corpo. He has a sort of "grizzled vet" gruffness to his voice, and when he talks to V in the Star end, he gives the impression he truly does know this line of work in and out. 3. Morgan Blackhand is regarded as a generally "good" person by Night City standards, avoiding killing as much as possible. As the saying goes, "Die a hero or live long enough to become a villain" and Mr. Blue Eyes could be an example of that. A "big brother" type who is always watching and always "knows what's best". 4. Mr. Blue Eyes' hair is literally labeled "Morgan Blackhand's hair" in the files I dont think this is STILL the case, but I think that's what they were going for in the stories shown in the initial trailers. Morgan could have been this suited up "hero turned villain" archetype, which is why he's not mentioned anywhere in the game. I think something similar happened to TBug and Dex too, as some early concept art shows Bug in Voodoo Boy gear, and Mamon Brigitte and Placide even wear clothes similar to them as well, with Mamon wearing a netrunner suit and jacket, and Placide having dreads and a red top. If they were their narrative replacements, it also explains why Voodoo boys would leave something this important to their plan to a couple of relatively new mercs, a disgraced fixer, and an expert netrunner who could pose a threat, and why TBug and Dex have no reason to want something that important and risky. In other words, TBug and Dex had means to get the shard, but no motive. Brigitte and Placide had a motive, but no means, and both groups had it out for Evelyn. I think this was done mainly to distance the Voodoo boys further from Jackie's death if they were already going to be responsible for Evelyn's.

Nah, V should be a legend have rumors referencing all the endings like going to space, with a nomad group, and like touring, or the surgery and fading into nothing, or selling out to arasaka. That would do the game and rpg justice. Just give us nee stuff
