    Awesome build man..In the process of figuring out what size/how im going to do one myself..literally 0 carpentery experience but the perfectionist in ne won't settle for mediocre 🤷‍♂️I don't care how long it takes either cuz it won't look like someone with 0 experience, built it,well as much as possible anyways😂 aesthetics pretty important to me, hence the 0 experience.......Anyways What did it end up costing at the end of the day? roughly?

    Just came across your video. It is so helpful to see the details of the plumbing. From the entry to how you have it plumbed to leave the trailer. I've been watching a lot of videos and thinking doing a 8.5 x 24 conversion with V nose. I travel a lot with qn Asphalt company qnd have winters off. Currently have a Northern Lite TC, but would like q little more room for full-time living qnd working. The TC would be fine for my snowbirding in the winter. Once again, thank you and very helpful. Wish this could circulate more for others to watch. Happy camping!

    What you did for the pan is great for this application. If someone wants to be anal you can always do the rubber shower liner under the mortor bed and run up the walls 6" like i do for home showers. They also make a adjustable shower drain for this as well. The issue with the drain os they are 2" pvc and would stick down way to far. The only way around that would to build the pan up higher but thats to much for a simple cargo trailer shower thats not used every night all year long. Ps: im a plumber

    I just got a replacement thermistor from furrion because I thought my freeze sensor was faulty. I knew there would be a resistance associated with temperature but I had no spec or baseline. I compared the new one to the old one and values were the same. So it was probably working as it should. However the new design from furrion is a spike compared to the cylinder style I had. So like yours once it was inserted in between the fins it’s cycling like it should. I only had the problem after I installed the room temp sensor relocation kit. Since it could run nonstop to cool the whole unit it started freezing up. Thanks for the video!

    The only issues I can see on the outside or where you have your shore, power hooked up and your city water hook up and your fill tank hook up because you don’t really ever want electricity and water in the same spot if you ever have a leak in your city water hook up you’re gonna fill that electrical outlet with water and possibly have a short

    Propane water heaters are extremely dangerous indoors due to carbon monoxide poisoning, many people died from this every year in my hometown many years ago. Yes, they were smart enough to open the bathroom window while taking a shower. Hope this saves someone's life.

    I am about to make a bunk, however i think im gonna let the corss member plywood float in smaller sections between the 2x4s and have a lip to be able to catch the ply so it stays where its supposed to. That way you can take down the middle plywood sections, the 2x4s and matress all down in pieces and not having to lift the whole weight of everything at once. My old bunk beds growing up used thos method as they were height adjustable and could easily jusy pop the center plywood out and change the height

    Nice build! I have a 2010 Haulmark toy hauler cargo trailer conversion. I bought it already set up from the original owner back in 2019 to go to Sturgis, and then out west. I have done significant upgrades to it, but it has no bathroom. I'm ok with that as I always stay where there is one, but I love your setup. I have a couple of videos. Thanks for sharing!

    The balance between carrying the toys and feeling like a camper when they are removed. It is a tough balance. I converted a 6x12 I already owned back in the spring of 2020 when I found myself with time on my hands, and now wish I would have traded it for a larger trailer. I am now looking again and watching videos for ideas. I'm thinking I would like to go with a 7x16 narrow track so it looks like an 8.5 without the width of an 8.5 that happens with the 7 foot wide with external fenders.

    Heya! I love this set up! I wanted to ask whats the length of this trailer? I've seen smaller ones and like 32 ft ones and those are crazy! Yours is so nice tho. I'm hoping to save up money for the next two or three years and get a 8.5x28 or 32 ft trailer depending on what I wanna do. But I really wanna convert one of these into a full time home and go with a longer frame so I can turn the back into a sorta green house that I can grow tons of stuff in and the lights can be powered by solar panels! I know it might sound way to much but I really do wanna make something thats me, ya know?

    • @MisfitRZR
      @MisfitRZR Год назад

      18’x8.5. The v in the front helps. When it was empty before the build, it measured 20’ from the inside of the V to the back wall. Hope this helps

      @@MisfitRZR Dang!!! Really? 18' looks so big! I thought it would be cool to get a 32' one and kinda cute the end into its own room and make it into a little green house sorta room. Glad ya finally got it 👍. I built a stand on the front of my conversion to hold a hurculiner box with and inlet and outlet for 4 in ducts to attach to the front wall of trailer. Inside the box is a 49.99 (winter sale) 8000 btu cheap 12 volt compressor window unit with the inlet and return air separated and vents on the outside for the outside condenser parts. Been 6 years now and still surprisingly works too good lol Really easy to work on and even easier to replace if ever needed 👍 Just another crazy but genius conversion idea for everyone 😁👍

    Nice build 👍👍 I mounted two 30mm ammo cans on the side of my trailer just behind the fenders, they make great outside storage boxes and don't interfere with the turning radius.
