My wife is kicking my butt for buying this setup... 😆😆 Anyway, I wanted to buy the YawVR2 but it's bloody expensive 🙄 I'm not familiar of any other motion chairs, but I hope there will be some affordable version soon.... The current setup is immersive enough, so I'm not complaining at all. 😎✌️

P. S.: if they were selling the standard version of the YawVR2 (which they don't) then it would be cheaper, especially without the rotation module which is not essential for a great motion experience.... then I'd be more willing to buy it. 😎

@@vsappel Hi, sorry for a late reply! Hope it's not too late. I can absolutely confirm that the quest2 has much better tracking over all. I created a gigantic VR game walking around an actual tennis court, and the Pico will lose tracking after a while where as the quest 2 keeps it rock solid all the way.

@@OhlsonAnimation notice that, got wavy lenses too =(. I want the pico 4 for race, so better fov and clarity is better but those problems are a thumbs down.

I keep my Oculus Quest 2 ☺️ and the purchased games will be always mine.... 🤔

allegedly it's fixed in fw 5.2.1 but I couldn't try because already returned my Pico 4. I'll test it later when I get a chance to try it somewhere

You really can't see how the entire screen is shaking on the Pico, while the screen of the Quest 2 is fairly stabilized? 🤔

@@benkekovax I think I realize now what you mean. I had been using the Pico 4 for mostly beat saber, but when I used it for Flight Simulator yesterday I could understand the problem. From the video though, it's hard to make out. Do you think this will be solved in software?

It's not only in comparison to the Quest 2, the Reverb G2 doesn't have this issue as well. While tracking might be post processed (smoothed), a raw tracking is not desirable. If you have a virtual object, and walk around it with the quest 2, it is perfectly where it should be. In the pico 4, that object is constantly shaking as if there is a 1-3 degree earth quake happening.

Fix a pont in the horizon, when you shake or move your head this point need to be in the same place. In PICO 4 it moves, on quest 2 it move less. I have boot and can see a huge difference, just wonder if it is a deffect or a design faulty.

I think most people don't notice this. I started paying attention only after I felt a bit dizzy, then I did the intensive headshake test, and only then realized what the problem was. Especially when I compared it to the Quest 2.

I have this problem too. Hopefully it's a software thing that can be upgraded over time.

How would you know this?? I've been playing with VR headsets since they appeared on the market, so believe me, I know how to properly put one on. 😎 So far the Pico 4 was the most uncomfortable one of all headsets...

No, it's a fckn tracking problem and it's a disgrace..all the pico4 i tried (three of them) have this problem. This thing fkn wobbles... And it's not only this. Even if you keep your head still when lookijg down you can see that the ground, very slowly, nearly imperceptibly, goes up and down, but it's enough to make you sick. I've never experienced something like that with any of the headset i had, and i had a lot...I returned it to amazon, i'm keeping my quest 2.

@@Cosmopavone Agreed. I'm never getting sick because of VR, but this headset made me a bit dizzy.... 🙄

@@benkekovax some people is saying that it is a 5.1 fw problem and that 5.2 fw doesn't have it and that's why reviewers didn't addressed the problem (reviews units have been given with fw 5.2 on it). I don't know what to believe and i had no time to wait for it and lose the chance to return it to amazon.

Same issue with mine PICO 4. So it's not a defective one

The Pico 4 I bought also has this wobbly head tracking. Shockingly bad. I am returning mine because the motion sickness is not worth it.

@@808jonnysmith you can try updating to 5.2.1. Some say it fixes this issue. But I’m not 100% sure

@@Shadow_banned_by_RUclips Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately I returned mine because one of the lenses had waves in it and one of the panels was darker than the other. Maybe I'll get one in the future when they fix the issues.

@@808jonnysmith I’ve just updated to 5.2.1 and yes it was fixed! Much better now!

My issue is that while the Quest 2 can track the shaking movement, and keeps the image quite stable, the Pico 4 is shaking the image like there was no head tracking. Did you watch the video at all? 🤔

@@benkekovax of course I watched the video. I think you mean that the movements aren't reduced when you shake your head. Why would you think there's no head tracking while the image is obviously following your head movements by shaking the image (as your head also does). There's definitely head tracking involved. Else the image would stand still lol

@@benkekovax now I get it! SMALL sudden movements. You didn't say 'small' at first so I thought that you really shook your head hard. 'shaking head' in my opinion is not equal to small sudden movements. But yeah. That's indeed a bug that need to be fixed
