So I am trying to do this right now, I have been wanting to learn how to do it for some time. The file is no longer downloadable, but I found the code from a very similar Yahoo answer. Same lines, same steps (replacing "password" or "password_goes_here" with what you want the password to be). I save it as a "locker.bat" with all files selected (I do have the known file types option set for saving it as another file like .bat) and when I run it, a black box appears very briefly. Blink and you miss it. Spamming it I was able to discern it saying something along the lines of "syntax for command incorrect" but it is being very stingy. I can't keep it up long enough to screenshot or read much of it at a time. I keep going over the code and cannot find what is wrong. I was introduced to C++ in middle school, but could not get too far because of homework. I will be taking a college class to get me back into it. But I want to start figuring this out sooner rather than later. Even leaving it as "password" or "12345" gives the same result. It confuses me because people say the code works. But for me it isn't and I copied and pasted it as it was. Not sure what the deal is. Could use a hand soon, please. :)
