OK I did it. Some tips: 1. Do not unscrew the drum whilst in the machine as suggested in this video. Instead, unscrew the chassis bar from the top front of machine (4 screws) and then you can lift the drum out whole, straight off the suspension springs, and once out then unscrew. 2. Once you get the drum apart undo the 24mm nut and take the drive wheel off and the entire stainless inner drum out. Ours came out easily 3. You then need to hammer the bearings out. You’ll need a large punch and hammer to break them out. This is quite hard but they come out by hammering around each one gradually. Use some lengths of timber under the drum to sit it on and protect it while you do this. 4. If you have a water blaster use that to clean entire insides while you have it all apart. The stainless shaft of ours had become very tarnished (it looked like oxide or overheating burn from bad bearings) so I used Brasso to clean off the gunk and polish it smooth for the seals. 5. To get the new bearings in you’ll need to squeeze or clamp them tightly together into their seats. Found a tip online to use large bolt + nut + jumbo washers on each side to squeeze them in very hard. I put a bit of grease on them too to help slide in. 6. Replace main seal and use lots of grease (the Bosch bearing kit comes with both) 7. Reassemble using a new main drum gasket rubber seal (also included in Bosch bearing kit). Find the seam in seal and have this at the top of the drum. Some people suggest silicone too but I was quite doubtful since this wasn’t done in the factory and thought it would be a problem if you ever took apart again so skipped that step and don’t regret it. 7. Once you have the whole drum back in and reassembled put the main suspension springs back on, and with someone else lift back in 8. Start reassembling everything in reverse order. 9. I replaced our main drive belt at the same time. When new it is much tighter so this was surprisingly hard to get on but with a helper managed. 10. Reassemble everything else in reverse order. All up it took me around 8-10 hours I guess but had to figure the above out and wasted lots of time before I realised taking the chassis rail off was an option. The machine works perfectly again with zero leaks. I didn’t even misplace a single screw either, which I put down to from the start grouping screws in a compartmentalised Sistema lunchbox so I could remember what when where. Hope that helps other ambitious DIYers!

@Fifi jak wyczyścić tą komorę pod wymiennikiem, którą widać po wyjęciu szuflady z filtrem? Mam suszarkę WPX87 z auto clean i po wyjęciu filtra widać tam pełno ciemnoszarego szlamu (kłaczków drobnych) które przedostały się przez filtr i zalegają w tej komorze razem z wodą. Suszarka ma mniej niż rok, wymiennik jest bardzo czysty, ale nie podoba mi się ten syf tam na dole.

Good evening, please help me with some advice. I opened and cleaned a Krups EA809810. After assembling, it went into "Put the 2 containers back" mode, although it has all the containers mounted. Probably the sensors don't feel like I've put them back ... how can I fix this. Thank you

Hello- first, thanks for the helpful videos. I have a question - in order to set an automatic EA 89xx Krups grinder to grind a bit more fine, the dial at minute 2:03- 2:06 has to be turned clockwise 1-2 positions (compared to the original), in order for the knives to be closer to each other, is that correct? Also, do you know - is there a grinder time setting (or a service menu) for the EA 89 automatic machine? Thans a lot!

Jest błąd w opisie. Moim zdaniem kręcenie pierścieniem w kierunku przeciwnym do ruchu wskazówek zegara powoduje zwiększenie szczeliny w młynku tym samym zwiększenie grubości przemiału. Kręcenie zgodnie z ruchem zegara robi drobniejszy przemiał, oczywiście jeśli mówimy o pierścieniu na młynku, a nie tym fabrycznym trzystopniowym pokrętle do regulacji w zasobniku kawy.

Coś tu się nie zgadza. Przestawiłem mlynek tak jak pokazane przeciwnie do wskazówek zegara po czym kawa zaczęła być mielona jeszcze grubiej. Przeanalizowałem jak to wygląda przy przestawianiu samą gałką i również wydaje się, że ruch przeciwnie do wskazówek zegara powoduje przestawienie na grubsze, a nie drobniejsze mielenie.

This method not the right way to solve the "Weak coffe" problem. This method change the grinding size and the volume (smaller) of grinded coffe, not effective, the coffe almost same weak after like before. The right ways: 1 way: Change the grinder bits and rotor. 2 way: open the grinder, and see the rotor under the central grinding part, if that too short (or not see because degradated or broked) change that part, and set the grinder to factory setting (green mark upper to ball). 3 way: Change the full part (grinder).

Gmochowi kazdy wchodził na głowe, sam Jacek Gmoch nie wiem czemu ale nie chciał dać szansy Lubańskiemu w pierwszym składzie i trzymał go przyspawanego do ławki. Plus konflikt miedzy starą kadra a młodymi wilkami (Nawałka, Iwan i Boniek) Duzo kibiców z takim troche przesadzonym sentymentem ze "to byli piłkarze a nie obecne gwiazdeczki jak Lewy czy Milik". Cóż mundial w 1978 pokazał ze polacy zachłysneli sie 3 miejscem na mundialu w RFN i tak jak w w 1974 to była sympatyczna ekipa ambitnych chłopaków, tak w 1978 na Mundial jechały polskie gwiazdy które myslały ze mundial maja w kieszeni bo przeciez 4 lata wczesniej im sie udało.
