Is there racism and discrimination in geologists? I strongly believed there is. I am a Filipino who live in USA who discovered some rocks in my property which I think it's more than a meteorite buried more than 50 feet under the ground. 50 years ago the previous owner installed a well, the drilling machine must have ran in to it which brought pieces up to the surface. Everything you look for in Meteorite are found in this rocks. I said discrimination and racism because Washington DC DNR gave me NASA phone number to call which I did but no answer nor return call. I've talked to our state DNR and sent some pictures but I was told they are slug meaning burnt plastics. I've talked to the so called world renowned geologist from California. He said that I didn't take good pictures. Lastly I've contacted Daniel Sheikh. I told him that I'm willing to pay for the cost, just get some rocks identified. He emailed me back by saying send me some pictures. So I did send him some pictures. I never heard a word from him. I emailed him again just to find out what his opinion of the pictures. He never responded. I'm Asian, maybe the reason why geologist are afraid I get rich from this.

I think it’s important to add that there are specific minerals that make up kimberlite. Which, might seem obvious to most of us but I’ve literally had people see something like this and then think obsidian can contain diamonds. I know that sounds ridiculous but some people don’t understand or have any knowledge of what the periodic table of elements is so they don’t understand atoms, molecules, or even the difference between rocks and minerals. And so therefore they have absolutely no understanding of then of what is needed (elements to molecules) and then that the conditions within the earth (pressure and heat, etc) that all have to be present in just the right order and time to create both minerals and gemstones.
