100% Agree, some of the most fun our friend group has is playing custom maps together. BTW have you tried the map AIM Rouge Inferno, it's a procedurally generated aim map. Awesome fun, can recommend.

Overwatch is being rolled out to "trusted partners" who that is exactly we're not sure ATM, but hopefully, with time, the overwatch community will weed out the blatant cheaters.

Apparently, a ban wave is also starting this weekend, if it is noteworthy enough, I will cover it on the channel, so look out for that.

@@Creature_Gaming_YT ytou deff should not be getting acces do. stating fals info in your youtube videos what you just googled around. overwatch isnt going to make the game better. people are either going to click the overwatch away and skip it or ban someone who is cheating indeed but maby 1 year ago. there was thousends of games every hour with spinbotters by the time they get catched up its 10 years later. when overwatch was there in the past it didnt help against cheaters either. 1% get banned other people still cheat. its not a methode that is going to ban every cheater in the game. they need to add a anti cheat for that wich they arent doing yet since they simply cant out develop the programmers. billions of euros and they cant even hire a proper team that works on this anti cheat.

Yeah, I understand your argument 100% although (and I'm no expert in this regard) But I think a hacker in this scenario would also have to bypass all Windows security. That being said Valorant seems to be doing much better on the cheating front with their let's say "aggressive" intrusive AC and to my knowledge there have been no instances of a breach. Anyhow, thanks for your insights. I appreciate it.

I understand your argument and you make valid points, however I disagree with some of your sentiments. Valve will not be able rest on their laurels forever. They will need to take decisive action fast and I stand by what I said in the video. Also just to clarify on one of your points: The only part of Overwatch that ever handed out bans were the actual community, those bans were then used as training for the AI to then find subsequent cheaters in the wild and then feed those cases back into the Overwatch system for human judgement. Mr Maxim's "The Cheating Problem" video explains the concept nicely if you'd like some more information with regards to it.

@@Creature_Gaming_YT Oh I agree that they need to do something preferably yesterday, and every day that they dont roll out something is hurting the game more, however Valve works in Valve time, and they always take their time, hence why I stopped 'waiting' for it and will just let them surprise me when it eventually happens. Regarding your OW point - I know that the people who decided if someone got banned or not were the people, however in late 2020 Valve changed the system so that even if everyone agrees that the person is cheating, said person won't actually receive a game ban - to prevent the abuse that was happening and undermining the system throughout the year

@@alex22tp *IF* they get to follow the valorant path (and player feedback apparently), it will most likely be a kernel-level one due to the gravity of the situation, on top of that i'd just add that, true, S2 is 10y/o but in the other hand it's got that "updatability" that S1 didn't have at all

@@alex22tp with all respect, but it is new. old engine is an engine that no longer being maintained, valve makes funcional changes frequently so we can't say its old. And 10 years is not a big time span, since 2015 nothing really changed in game dev, except specific tech that no one uses in mp gaming anyway.

I can totally agree with this. The only consequence right now is some time burnt to spin up another account and maybe some trade locked skins. Another good measure could be an enforcement to link your phone number to your steam account. but that's a whole other topic of debate.

@@Creature_Gaming_YT no I've been doing it so long now it's just how I enjoy playing the game. The cheating rate in AUS for CS has always been one of the highest in the world. If you can't beat them, join them. I really hope they bring OW back tho

The player shadow would be cast on the wall regardless of the AO setting, the real question is, would a person be able to see somebody hiding in a dark corner as a result of AO.

@@bo0t3r29 Nope just letting people know that the player shadow being cast onto walls has nothing to do with ambient occlusion and rather the global shadow quality setting.
