I hope you will enjoy this little video that my husband and I have made... so many of you have asked for video tutorials, I though it was about time I put my brave face on and made it happen. So, I have started a new online course learning how to make short films and videos and this is our first attempt...sorry it's silent, we're learning all about sound next week! The theme this week is childh...

Hi Sarah, when you get to the heart ‘v’ point, if you make a tiny stitch, literally half a millimetre, below it from behind coming up, then again just on the top fabric, then sew down into the backing fabric you should find it ‘pulls the point down’ into a nice crisp and sharp v. (Courtesy of Patricia Cox lessons on Baltimore Appliqué many years ago at Alston Hall). Sorry, it’s not that easy to explain in words!!! I absolutely love your designs xx

Thanks Carla, I'm afraid there are just not enough hours in the day for us to do everything. So we have decided to focus on what we love doing the most, which is creating more new designs for both kits and patterns and for future block of the month clubs.... we're really looking forward to having more time to sew and create! xo
