Can a mute group also to mute Fx Send? as example in a live concert where the singer has reverb on his vocal but want to talk to the ppl without reverb
your audio is out of phase on my macbook
glad your not mixing for me .
Is there a way to get prep an offline scene, similar to the sq mixpad to pull/push show
Beat beautiful
Not sure what happened to the audio here, but the channels are inverted. Makes it hard to hear an actual representation of what the mixer sounds like.
Bro that noise floor..
It keeps blinking in spite of posting the key properly, kindly help
Audio in this tutorial is terribly out of phase.
Think the audio has broken 😩
Left and right audio channels are out of phase with each other
Tssssssssssssss 😵💫
Love the tutorial! Just want to let you know there is no center to your stereo audio, at least for me anyways.
Great tutorial - came in very handy as a refresher. I haven't used the app in a while! Though it did make me laugh when you said the singer won't want to hear themselves... 😂👍
thank you so much for this content! Would you be able to do a video about how the patching interface works?
Great tutorial. Thank you. Question, can you name the Custom 1, Custom 2 and Custom 3 something else?
Excellent video! Thank you for taking the time to create this informative walkthrough. In my experience, setting monitors to pre-fader, especially in a music setting, provides more advantages than using post-fader. Mainly, volume adjustments to my house mix (via fader) don't inadvertently affect the musicians' perception of the volume of their own playing. Additionally, I'd posit the chance of feedback actually increases with a post-fader mix, as a volume increase to a channel in the house mix via faders would also increase volume to the monitor feed, and such sudden changes in volume in the monitor might induce feedback. Lastly, to my understanding, muting a channel on a Qu-series board will mute it across all mixes, including pre-fader mixes. I have run across some boards, namely the Mackie VLZ-1604, in which the mute only mutes L-R and post mixes, and not pre-mixes. I did not like this feature on that board, as when I hit mute, I want it muted everywhere. Fortunately, muting on an Allen and Heath board, such as a GL4000, and also on the Qu-series, mutes the channel across all mixes, whether L-R, pre-fade, or post-fade. In summary, I think pre-fader on monitor mixes provides more advantages than post-fader offers. Here's a couple articles with some more explanation - www.sweetwater.com/insync/pre-versus-post-fader-for-monitors/#:~:text=A%3A%20Pre%2Dfader%20sends%20are,almost%20always%20used%20for%20effects. - www.behindthemixer.com/why-pre-and-post-send-selection-matters/ Thanks again for making this video!
Thanks for the review. Is the app free
Life saver tutorial!
Brilliant- helps me enormously. 👍🙏🏻

Great info, thank you. 🙂🇨🇦
Does anyone know how to use the recording functions with Qu Pad App? Feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone know how to use the recording functions with Qu Pad ?
i just bought a qu16 and this qu pad app doesn't work or look like the one on the video...
You may have already figured this out by now, but you have to connect your Qu-16 mixer to your router via an Ethernet cable. When you do, the option to select your Qu-16 will be available on the first screen of the Qu-pad app :)
Can we name the Aux?
I recently got a QuPac, and I while I really like the sound of it. I am surprised it doesn't have RTA on the parametric and graphic eq's for channels and busses. I know you can view and RTA by PAFL any channel or buss and going to Home, then RTA, but that's a long way around. It would be super handy for it to be added to the back ground in parametric/graphic veiw, you know, like how you can on a XR18 desk... for 1/4 of the price.
I use an old 9.7 inch iPad. It works just fine. Anyone using Qu Pad with a 12.7 inch iPad Pro? Could be great with the bigger screen
please enable the subtitles in Spanish
Great video! Thank you! Could you do another video of FX Explained but only for the in-ear mixes? Need help for inserting reverb on vocals that go only into the 10 mixes and not at FOH. I have one vocals channel on inputs, I want to apply reverb and delay on it but the reverb and delay to be heard only by the in-ear band members and not by front of house. Thanks !
this would be great if you can do it? also FX to individual monitor mixes so not everyone has to hear them?
Thank you for this. Greatly appreciate it.
very helpful video, well explained. many thanks
Excellent video, well explained, thanks very much
