Next best thing after a guide like this is a guide about grinding few ships in a line :). NICE. Thx for listening :) PS. And yes, you're right, a BB has a different approach, slightly easier/more forgiving.
I remember few games in a cruiser being one-shot in first 5 min of the game... and since +1k games later, only cruiser that suits me is NAPOLI... pls help being better at cruisers
At the start of a match is when you are at your most vulnerable. When you get spotted change course immediately either hard turn out or in and drop your speed to half or even a quarter. If you continue to be spotted sail away from team red whilst weaving with the rudder and changing speed continuously until you're safe again. Oh and use islands to block line of site so you can close to gun range. Islands are very important for cruisers with only a few exceptions. Napoli has the smoke so she can disengage very easily if its not on cooldown. Thank you for watching and good luck.

Ah, my favorite educational content atm :D have the myoko for years now when I was new to the game, stopped the JAP cruiser line with it and went into Des Moines. I went back to Furutaka aufter a Flamu Video and really enjoy it since then. I think its time to take a new look at the Myoko.

She has the 10th best HDPM for secondaries but so squishy I'd never build into them. Turns like a shoe box though. Oh, but the guns and speed, hard to beat. Fun ship to play in the right matches. Nice video, I always enjoy learning what top tier players think and strategize during a match.

Yeh agree. I wish they would maybe give them 30K health and some better torp and fire protections to give the defenders a chance. The attackers can still lose but you need a dreadful team of clueless attacker players for that to happen.......
If I'd see Lone Gun and Maltese Knight on opposing team that's a Brown Alert for me 😂 As always WP and nice tricks there with smoke.

Hmm nicely played and interesting commentary on positioning/strats'. Do you play the Druid, and any thoughts on it for ranked?
I don't have Druid yet but I do have Daring and the whole short burst smoke mechanic on the British DDs is very good. They went too far with the nerf on Jutland though but the cossack is a mighty fine DD for T8 ranked and the lightening is a great hybrid DD. I'm undecided on Druid, no torps, poor conceal but good guns with no HE hmmmmmmm. Ty for watching!
Daisen seems pretty strong and the torpedo angles are outstanding. If you have Iwami you should try it in ranked.

what mod do u use for the clear water?
It's part of Aslains mod pack which you get at aslain.com/index.php?/topic/2020-download-%E2%98%85-world-of-warships-%E2%98%85-modpack/ . When you run the installer you'll find it under MAP environments section near the bottom of the list and it's called clear underwater view. Tick that and you're good to go.

Great advice. That's very important in this game - to have fun and try different play style. What would be your suggestion for a similar ship if I don't have Jager? And somebody suggested me Oaland/Oyster/Holland how do you feel about European line as trop DD?
EU torp boats are fun in ranked. RPF is a must as they don't have smoke. I was running my random build capt otherwise I'd have specced RPF it really helps with the hybrid playstyle. Don't forget to consider Yugumo off the ijn torp line very strong torps, good conceal and smoke or torpedo reloader. I'd probably go with smoke until you get used to her as torp reloader is risky. you chose fiji of all other other cruisers its big task to not get spoted and die , its bad ship other dan guns sometimes. i regretted grinding fiji line. its same as using tier 5, 6 destroyers. use fast reloading and firing HG cruiser and you good.
Haha fair comments I did try a few different ships. The Helena was ok except for dealing with the minefields its asw was crap. Fiji can clear a ton more mines. The stord '43 is good as is the W Virginia 44 gave both of those a crack but the Fiji was good against the shore guns and the minefields better than the other three. I think the Atlanta does ok but 3024!! EXP in a FIJI WOOT WOOT 😎😎😅😅😉😉 lmao ty for watchin my bro!
