Start a recording with a new device recently. I'm very happy with the sound quality. Still have to work out the kinks with the left-hand bar chords suffering with lousy thumbs, lol

It's tough to imagine a world at peace. There is hope though, right? This song that Elvis did in 1968 has as much meaning now as it did then.

Absolutely stunning! Subscribed!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🥂
Thank you so much!!❤️❤️
Cool stuff Dan
Could you please share a video of how to change the needle
Good morning! I'm guessing you didn't watch the whole video? Fast-forward to four minutes and five seconds and I show you how to change the needle
I did watch it and regretted asking before finishing it! Thank you!!
❤❤❤❤GO DAN. DO YOUR THING❤❤
Have you already sold the record player?
Yes I have. This video was made for the client I restored it for.
I figured, I would have bought it immediately. I just purchased one and it plays beautifully, but the auto return won't function. Thankyou for your reply.
@@user-ff6zg6mh3v you are welcome for the reply. sorry that your automatic record changing feature is not working correctly. I charged $275 for that service restoring a record changer if it's a Magnavox brand
Was this car a manual or automatic transmission? I can't tell from the video...
Hello! Manual!!
Surely that's not the record changer it came with. The original couldn't be saved?
You would be correct and don't call me Shirley! I'm certain at one time, one the previous owners didn't know how to service the changer so they abandoned it. This console came to me in this state for restoration.
I wasn't expecting to see a Sony record changer in there but a Dual or some other European name, is that Sony original to the console?
The Sony is not original. It came to me this way for restoration
The Sony is not original. It came to me this way for restoration
That's a BSR record changer that was available from the mid to late 70's....even up to early 80's
I have this same “ great “ Old Garrard Changer..! I purchased it not working on eBay and rebuilt it …👍🏻 I wired the tone arm and cartridge for stereo…🎶👍🏻 I have a Stanton 681 EEE cartridge in it … I also made a short center post for easier manual Play, only …. I just purchased another regular changer center post and cut it down then turned it on my lathe…! I have the tracking adjusted extremely light …👍🏻🎶👀
Nice!
This was just recommended to me, and I can't express how happy I am to have found it😂😂, this was beautiful. Have a wonderful day to all of you.
Thanks Nathan. Did you mean to put laughing emojis?
Hello there. I need some help and I hope you can point me in the right direction. I have a Sylvania CST6730 stereo with an 8 track. I'm needing a new belt for it. Can you tell me where I can order one? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide me!!!
Good morning. Contact Gary Stork at The Voice of Music Enthusiasts.
What would be the ideal room area for the Klh model 5 speakers?
I just gave this same one to my youngest daughter she loves it
That was nice of you.
I think to lock down the turntable for serious transportation, you back out the screws around the edges and that will compress the suspension springs and stop the "floating"action of the turntable. This is probably more important for shipping than moving it gently from room to room. Note that the screws have a clip on the back to allow compression of the springs.
Hello. That method would be true in most cases but not on this one. There are no internal threads on the changer base for those screws. At the base of those screws, there is no place for those flip tabs. The only thing that is there are butterfly spring clips that you squeeze onto the screw shaft.
Beautiful
Of all the changers I've ever used, Magnavox is the only one where both the LP spindle and the 45 adapter never jammed up or failed (even with records of varying thicknesses). Great machine! Also, has anybody ever told you you have a great late night FM DJ voice?
Hello Dewey! They are phenomenal record changers. Like you said, I wonder 100% trustworthy and never seem to hang up. Very good engineering! And you are not the first one to tell me I had a radio DJ voice. I should be a commentator of some sort, lol thanks for the compliments!
Very nice little console! I'd love to own like that.
They come up for sale often.
love the operation of those Collaro record changers!
Is it safe to play a stereo LP with that heavy arm!!
I know your 1st impression is that it is a heavy tone arm. I thought the same when I 1st started learning about these record changers. This tone arm tracks perfectly at 3 grams!!
Larry, yes I did
sum people say they are boring, ugly, and slow but i think the excact opposite of that, those things are beautiful at it's finest
I never cared for them too much until I became an owner!
can you show how you put a pfanstiehl 226 in that? i found a seller in new jersey who has an astatic 712 which is similar to a Euphonics e-1
That would be a long video
@@danbogel7739 did you drill out the rivets and put the Pfanstiehl bracket on the Magnavox bracket?
BEAUTIFUL ❤️
Record player is not org. Normaal a telefefunken 501
You are absolutely right. It came to me this way. It would have been nice to have the original.
@@danbogel7739 this radio gram is rare also in europa
Valves not "tubes" it's British 🤷
I'll do another video with a British accent and then I will refer to them as valves. 😀
My favorite John Denver song. Great performance. Like 3 👍
Thank you very much sir!
I’ve had good experience with Dan in this area! Since Facebook won’t let me give him a second good review I’ll mention it here. Dan’s the man!
Maravillosa consola!!!
Thanks Dan!
You are welcome
Yeah… That’s my dream car. It’s a simple beautiful car, and in a beautiful color too!
I loved it when I had it.
I’d have killed for a tear down guide lol. Wife asked me to restore one of these, that’s a family heirloom. So scared to break something!
Take lots of pictures
I still like these cars
Me too❤
Fun stuff
Yes!
It barely got dark at all here, and we were in the 80% area.....
Sorry you were not in the path of totality. It was an incredible event to behold. Thank you for your response and for watching the video!
Thanks for your video - you do realize you're doing the Lord's work, right?
Hi JD. At one time I never took the motor apart at all and did not oil the Felts. This was in my early days of learning the craft. Even since this video was done I do it differently yet again. I cut the wires and completely remove the motor from the record changer. I put all the parts in an ultrasonic cleaner for 40 minutes. Let everything dry with the help of a hairdryer and then I oil the felts with electric car motor oil. I did this message for a couple of years and now I do it differently yet again. I no longer put the motor parts in the ultrasonic. I spot clean everything and then I let the motor parts with the bushings and felts in them soak in the oil for a week. This process completely saturates the felt. I'm not so worried about too much oil anymore. That's how I do it anyway.
I have a 66 astro sonic console. Your comments mention you "doing it differently now". Curious to know what your new procedure is, as i need to service my motor. It works fine right now but could use the TLC. ALSO, I've read that youre not supposed to use 3-in-1 oil, but instead like sewing machine oil or something to that effect.
Magnavox Micromatic, Best Record Changer ever!, Well that's actually the "Automatic" model mostly the same, Most major difference is the Motor then a few minor others. Had that Changer in a Magnavox Portable I had for 3 years way back when "1975-78", First Magnavox I ever owned!
This has the new motor which didn't have the inherent "too slow" issues the older ones did.
@@danbogel7739 That turntable platter looks different from what I have seen on this 400 changer.
Good morning! I can't add any comment to your comment other than this came to me for restoration from the lady who purchased it new.
@@danbogel7739 Ok, got it. Are you a member of the Magnavox group on Facebook?
❤❤❤BEAUTIFUL ❤❤
Sounds magnificent!
where to find pics of how to replace stylus or needle on garrard RC88/4?
It depends on which cartridge you have.
Is that a Tetrad cartridge?
Yes sir
You played really well and had a wonderful voice. I think I have a lot to learn from you. So I'm to your RUclips channel and stopping by often to learn music. I hope you are always healthy and full of good things.
That sounds very good
