It’s astounding to me how many people think that someone who reads or in some cases even knows things doesn’t actually enjoy those things and instead is just posturing. I think most of the time it’s not true, especially considering how many people look down on that sort of thing and always have. XD I don’t know if “reading in public” is much of an own, a failed one or not. Also it’s funny to say that having a deck of cards and eating dinner alone is a red flag. So don’t read and don’t play cards and don’t eat alone. So just sit there and smile invitingly or don’t go out without a chaperone? This reminds me of my story: Have crush on girl in 10th grade. Think it will go away. Last days of school try to find her. Can't. Or at graduation. It makes me sad because it could’ve been a result of his family never getting him into the proper early intervention and diagnosis of his autism. He probably felt so different and so judged that he reacted so horrifically with his emotions since he was never taught how to properly cope with them with autism. He shouldn’t have done it and I feel so bad for the family and his brother. But I also get so worried about all the other children who’s diagnosis’ have just been missed and never gotten that struggle like this
