I've been subscribed for about a month and I'm enjoying watching your content. I'm looking forward to seeing how the winter village turns out. I think for me a winter village consists of buildings at different kinds of angles in a sort of curved shape giving it a more Christmas magic kind of feeling instead of being more uniformly in line with each other. It's also a village so how narrow are the roads (are they one way? And are they straight?) and has the snow been completely cleared from them? Were the buildings built years ago in a way where they sort of move with the landscape? or were they built recently were the landscape has been altered to fit the building? These are just my own ideas for what a winter village should be but obviously at the end of the day it's up to you what you do. That layout is amazing! If I were you I’d be stuck with the Orient express, or, the winter Main Street tram, motorising it and then using the “powered up” Lego app to programme it. Some simple videos/tutorials on RUclips. How cool would it be to have the tram going from one side to the other constantly. It can be programmed to stop at the station for like 10 seconds then move off again. Would recommend if you can, that’s what I have done this year with my village. Wish you luck! Love the vids 😄

My favourite part of Lego Ideas is the licences it gives us that we wouldn't get normally. My favourites are Home Alone, Doctor Who and Ghostbusters.

great review. but just a heads up for those with younger children that may be playing with this.. the little white technic axles (forget part #) x8 are prone to bend after semi-rough play. Once they do, play time is over because wheels and rubber band are constantly falling off and it's no longer a sturdy ride.
