I don't know that I do, but I must have some Irish in me because I just love that song! Lovely lovely rendition of Danny Boy. I guess it is a mournful song for the end of Summer and loss of a dear one, and I loved how you just got into it, no introduction needed, and then faded away at the end. Thank you Vicki. I remember this song! I was 11 years old, transistor radio under the blankets late at night...so many memories of all the great music from funny ones like this ( and Jim Stafford's Spiders and Snakes) to others bringing a tear to my eyes. Great job and story. :)

Wow, why can't I give this many many thumbs up instead of only one? Thank you for sharing this song. As we get older this is so relevant and needed. It makes you really think as you watch people you know and love dying around you.

Just lovely Vicki. I am not familiar with Ian Tamblyn but I really like the sound of this song, sort of a mournful ballad about the passing of time. Really lovely. And your picking and voice are just magnificent; simple and to the point. I love your playing. Surely in your past you were a professional, and if you weren't you should have been. I wish I could have seen you perform live, wherever that was. It was nothing but time. Your playing/singing brings tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for continuing this series.
