Grew up in Altadena in Old farm house built in 1907 on Marengo between Concha and Wapello. Walked to elementary school at Loma Alta. Virginia Lance and Marion Lee started the parade. My Dad was President of Junior Chamber of Commerce in Altadena. Christmas Tree Lane, Farnsworth Park, I used to feed the horses on East side of Marengo on the way to school before the tract houses were ever there. Ms Altadena*Rosa Johnson " a dear friend. Shopped at Market Basket and Websters. Fond memories back when Altadena Library was still on Lake Avenue and can remember the day the new Library had it's grand opening. Went to Elliot Jr High then onto John Muir. Lots of wonderful memories Nuccio's Nursery, Millard Canyon, Mt.Lowe, Cob Estate, etc. I was blessed for that time and place called home. Very different now so many changes just not the same anymore.😢

Small tip! Ask a local restaurant or cafe/bar if you can collect their bottles, it goes a lot faster then asking friends. I picked up over 120 bottles in 2 weeks this way of which most are of the same 3 or 4 wines so i have a lot of the same bottles. I pick them up twice a week, once after the weekend because they sell a lot of them during the weekend and once before the weekend, this way they are emptied recently (witin 3 days) and very easy to clean with no gunk inside that has solidified.

Steve, this happened to me too. I got sick at 58. Cleaned me out. Long story. Now have CLL. I would have had my house paid off in 1 year. Medical has been outrageous. I hear what you say about medical after working hard all your life. I’m not sure what my senior years will look like. I’m not complaining just agreeing it’s definitely a change of life. Thank God I have life 💕

These kits can turn out incredible if you take the time to do them right. Since these are metal, they are easy to disassemble and re-paint. I re-built all of mine that I had originally done when I was a kid and had kept for 40 years.

I was disappointed that your video was not very detailed in the actual step by step process of removing the steering column

I rember building some of those kits early 1970s they were about $3 dollars back then, and the castings were pretty decent, a little cleaning and they fit togather real well and screw assembly the headlghts housing were plastic that was the hardest to get that real chrome look.But still i enjoyed buildig them,all the best to you in building those kits there a lot of fun.

Wrap your lug nut wrench in electrical tape. You won’t scratch your wheels then.
