So how about performance this new carburator for the engine....
@@TriTri-c9m on this plug and play mildly tuned engine I would say it didn’t make a huge difference.
The writing is definitely on the wall. 😮
@@norsecynn 😱
Billy? 😊
@@norsecynn 😁
how is your vespa so low?
@@jamiemorse4487 it’s standard height, maybe it looks low without the seat.
Bought a 19080 P200E a week ago... 😎
@@motormikeb1047 👍
Is it said Made in India?
@@noelvespa3614 yes
@ is it good quality and perform good?
@ I’ve bought maybe three of this kind without issues
@ thank you for your information, i will try to have the fly wheel curved fan for px200
And do you feel any difference with new absorbers? Is the handling in corners better or the same with original ones. I have px200, and I'm thinking about getting new absorbers...thanks for your answear.
@@kristijanjukic3556 I think the combination with new absorbers and aluminium rims with tubeless tyres made a positive difference on the bikes handling. But I didn’t buy the most expensive absorbers so I guess there is even better handling to buy.
What size festoon bulbs did you use for this build? On SIP I found 12V 5W and 12V 10W bulbs, but the problem is that 5W bulb is 11x38mm and 10W bulb is 11x44mm bulb. Which size is correct for this adapter so I know which size to buy? Thanks in advance.
@@vladoculina6999 ohh, I can’t remember that right now. But I can check the next time I’m in the garage.
@@vladoculina6999 now I’ve been in the garage. My 5W is 38 mm and I’ve found a 10W that’s 41 mm and managed to squeeze that in place.
You made it look easy! I have started to strip a 1962 Sportique engine today; I have removed the 12 nuts and bolts, but I cannot split the engine. I have tried applying heat from a hot air gun around the main shaft bearing, and tapping the cases with a rubber hammer, but nothing is moving. Do you have any other ideas?
@@iaincameron5538 have you removed the gear selector box ? Otherwise it’s probably more heat that’s required.
@@Nordicexplorer1 Yes, the gear selector is off.... I'll try more heat!
Ouch!
@@norsecynn 😬
Nice review. Interesting. 👍
Hopefully there will be a more detailed review next season.
@@Nordicexplorer1 are you planning any longer trips next year? you might encourage me to update my 2020 300gts touring. 😃
@ well, there might be a trip to the alps next year. But nothing that’s booked yet.
Do you know how it's done on the 2024 GTV?
@@fromaggiovagiola9128 Haven’t been able to test my self because I don’t own a GTV, but try this: 1) With the right handlebar kill switch in to off position. 2) Go to the range screen (not trip or total miles). 3) Bring up the voltage display. 4) Turn off the main ignition. 5) Hold the trip reset mode button (The lower one by the seat lock) 6) Turn on the main ignition without letting go of the lower mode button. 7) After a few seconds you get a message (coupon resetting) in the lower screen and the wrench starts blinking. Don't let go until the wrench disappears.

@@norsecynn indeed sir 😁
Couple days ago, I picked up a 1980 P200E. As a youth in the 60's I had a Vespa... and a few years ago had a Stella.... all two wheeled fun... Yours can be easily repaired... perhaps invest in crash bars or at least passenger foot bar.. which may help in the event of another off road " adventure " 😎

Will this work on a 2021 duke 125
@@gregcurry6609 it’s the same display, so it might work but I don’t know for sure.

What length piston stopper 38mm?
@@jcreswick the length of the piston stopper doesn’t really matter, it just needs to be long enough to stop the piston before it reaches top position. I think I’m using a 38 mm.
What is the point exactly to get a fast flow ? I don't quite understand. I'm fixing an old vespa at the moment, and this tap piece is broken. I don't know if I should go with the struggle to order the pieces and fix it, or just put the tap on open position and put the tank back like this. What is the use of being able to close your tank while driving ?
@@hrmouchshotrage63 A fast flow or more consistent flow is good when tuning a engine. On a stock bike I would not bother. Be able to turn your tap of could be very useful when doing work on your carburettor or when you are going to remove the tank or engine.

I guess vespa is big in Germany! I thought it would be a bigger thing in Italy???
@@gordonmclees95 it might be a everyday thing to see in Italy, not making it very exclusive. But up here in the north of Europe it’s more rare and therefore more interesting maybe 🤔?
You passed a blue Morris Minor. I had one when I was a student. It was old when I got it and like many cars of that type it was already badly rusted. The wings and sills looked like Swiss cheese 😂 but the little engine started every time. 👌
@@norsecynn they do have a tendency to rust those cars. I would like to have some old small British car as a project in my garage someday .
@@Nordicexplorer1 it would be nice. I went to the local annual Mini car show. It’s like the show you visited but all Minis - about 400 showed up, the furthest one from France! The older Vespas had a great glove box, there’s no way you’ll fit a sandwich in the 300 GTS glove box. If you put it under the seat it will become be toasted. 😊
