I make stupid videos. You can actually watch them. It's crazy.
Animal Well: The Metroidvania Palette Cleanser
*DISCLAIMER* : I tried to keep this video as spoiler free as possible. That being said, it's obviously hard to keep a video about a puzzle metroidvania completely void of them. I show multiple early-ish bosses, items, mechanics, and puzzles. If you haven't played the game yourself, watch with caution.
In this game, even the secrets have secrets.

Chris Christodoulou killed it on the Soundtrack. DISCLAIMER : I haven't played Risk of Rain 1, so if any of these points sound redundant when considering the first game, just realize that I wouldn't know. If my praise is applying to the first game as well, then just think of it as me applauding the series' success rather than just 2. Thanks. Music List: Blue Mood - Robert Munzinger Chris Christ...

8:45 If I had to pick a 3rd game, it would 100% be Tunic, that game can be beat in 30 minutes by a casual player on a replay when it takes around 10 hours to complete it normally, and, apart from 1 or 2 achievements and an optional final puzzle, there is nothing else to do but sequence break the game. For example, usually at the start of the game the first thing you have to do is get the sword to cut down bushes, but, after completing the game, you can get a late game charm in 2 minutes that allows you to cut down the bushes, completely skipping a huge portion of the game.
I'd love for you to make a video on Tunic, it was an experience I will never forget
ngl, this video was all over the place
only game ive ever replayed was spiderman miles morales, dont even know why, its good but not absolutely amazingly great 🤷♂
I wish i could enjoy the outer wilds
I know alot of people will say that this game is replayable but not for me, I will never be able to play Nier Automata and experience the multitude of emotions I once did and hence I cannot bring my self to bring my self to play this again
As a hoi4 player, i think it's rather replayable, considering i have 1700 hours on it.
Funny enough both little nightmares games are the games I wish I could replay again
Outer Wilds may not be personally re-playable, but I have never watched so many playthrough videos of a game, chasing the moments when the player "gets it" or has a aha moment.
As someone who has dumped hours upon hours into Breath of the wild about 700 and 200 into its sequel I enjoy replayability most in games as apposed to one time experiences that feel one note but i do love those types of game too its just doesn't feel that fulfilling to me as a repayable game
Currently playing Return of the Obra din and I’m going to be so sad when it’s done because I know I won’t get to play it again
"When the credits roll, a great game will have you thinking 'I want to do that again'". The only game I ever felt this for during the credits was The Legend of Zelda a Link Between Worlds. Immediately started another playthrough after I finished it.
I love how you showed RE4 and RE4 Remake, cause im currently replaying both right now at the same time, just their VR Versions. Its so fun to see how both tackle VR controls
Outer Wilds mentionned, like and sub earned
borderlands is probably one of the most repayable games I've ever played
Rdr2? content? those two don't go together at all. That game has zero substance
unfortunately im asian and have been taught since i was a child to "get my money's worth" if i cant replay a game i paid for for hundreds if not thousands of hours i aint getting it, doesn't mean i wont like the game, but im more likely to watch someone else's playthrough
I'm personally a huge fan of Mass Effect Legendary Edition, because it includes remakes of all 3 games including all DLC. Easily the best 60 Dollars I ever spent.
Portal I would love to play both without remembering them and lethal Company
One of the very best at this is subnautica, I've played it like 5 times and loved every playthrough
what is the game at 3:55 and 9:48 ?
I think a good example of a great but unreplayable game is Night in the Woods. Incredible story, visuals, minigames, left me wanting more the whole playthrough- but there isnt anything to gain from playing it again. And that isnt a bad thing.
You want the most replayable video games? : SIMS 3, SIMS 4 Youre welcome
i dont really know any replayable games in the new generation of games. most replayable games i know are on the ps2 lol
A game that balances knowledge based progress and replayability is Rain World. The game is hard but rewarding on the first playthrough, and once you understand the map and enemy attacks, you can explore areas you couldn’t on your first playthrough.
Tunic is another knoledge game I've heard good things about
this feels so targeted since I have 47 hours on little nightmares 😭🙏
I was actually thinking about replaying Little Nightmares 1 & 2 again.
HALO master chief collection is probably the greatest strength of replayability, all of HALOs beat missions at your fingertips, you can literally create a playlist of your fav missions to play one after the other to make it one giant HALO campaign of your fav missions. Ive played it for years and never even paid any attention to achievements or anything, the games are just fun and have aged enough that you can play over and over without getting bored
i played through DS3 at least 15 times and never felt like i was eating breadcrums
congratulations you have been chosen as the video im gonna watch while i eat
Dont understand why you think bioshock 2 is the best bioshock. But its interesting to hear that arkane had worked on it, they definitely adopted a lot of elements for dishonored
Bro, fallout New vegas!!!
I only platinum Bloodborne, because it had such a normal achivements, kill all the bosses, find weapons etc, no unnecessary things like kill 500 enemies with this and that shit. Truly felt amazing getting that one Platinum 🏆 And currently my most replayable game is Sekiro, even tho it got single build melee focus playstyle, the combat stuck with me like Arkham games, after every new game, I install it and play the entire thing 🔥
This is a fantastic video
Another year, another terraria playthrough (or two)
Dunkey is the pioneer but Lucas tracy is better bro. Took everything he did and made it special. Not just random videos
I respect Borderlands 2 players for genuinely grinding for guns with the PERFECT parts. That’s very doable but it’s such a headache Jesus. If you even CONSIDER on getting a PERFECT shield bless your heart and soul bc I promise you you’re more likely to get struck by lightning than even getting CLOSE to getting ONE of your perfect shields (look up the statics for getting any perfect shield)
Super mario oddysey is easily my favorite game to replay. It's just so fun.
soooooooooooo what im hearing is you should play ultrakill again
hitman has to be one of the most replayable game ever
Is this my sign to play the og re4 again? The new one is just as replay able too
Bit of a late comment, but I'd like to know your opinion on Visual Novels? In terms of replayablity. Story is the least replayable, so what about a type of game that only consists of story and occasional choices?
Thing is for coop games you need friends
two hood examples are batman arkam games and fortnite both are replayable and fun
in my 20 years of gaming only a handful of games ever made me want to re play them
I think I have to dispute that statement there the egg in that burger is not filler it is added flavor that makes the burger jucier and to hold the meat togeather better. If you ever eat a burger without egg in it, rethink your life and stop going to mcdonalds, or in and out or whatever cut bathroom pretending to be a burger place you landed at.
A good example of this personally is with Pokemon, because (and this is just my opinion) some games like Sword and Shield are very replayable as you can try tons of different challenges and strategies to play through the game 100 different ways, while some like Scarlet and Violet might be fun the first time around, but do you REALLY wanna go through that hour long tutorial again? To go through the mountains of dialogue again? Most would say no, and I personally agree. They aren't bad games, they're fun the first time around, but I definitely wouldn't go for seconds.
Metal gear solid 5 the phantom pain is a highly replayable game
In my opinion, even games with low replay value can be replayed quite a lot. It all comes down to how much you manage to fall in love with the game. I'll use life is strange one as an example here, as it's one of my all time favorite games. It has an amazing story, no doubt, but only two endings. There is really not too much of a reason to come back other than possibly getting all the achivements, or seeing a new dialouge option or two, but that's it. Even so, I find myself coming back to it time and time again, due to just how much I adore the word and it's characters. It has become one of my comfort games, one which I often find myself playing after a long day, despite me already seeing everything there is to see. TL;DR For some games, replayability doesn’t matter as much as the game making you fall in love with the world and it's characters, because it's often those games you find yourself coming back to, just to be a part of that world once again.
Little nightmares isn’t something u might play again, but it is something you love
