I make stupid videos. You can actually watch them. It's crazy.
Animal Well: The Metroidvania Palette Cleanser
*DISCLAIMER* : I tried to keep this video as spoiler free as possible. That being said, it's obviously hard to keep a video about a puzzle metroidvania completely void of them. I show multiple early-ish bosses, items, mechanics, and puzzles. If you haven't played the game yourself, watch with caution.
In this game, even the secrets have secrets.

DISCLAIMER : I haven't played Risk of Rain 1, so if any of these points sound redundant when considering the first game, just realize that I wouldn't know. 3:53 battlebit 👍😃👍
Mount And Blade games are one of the best when it comes to replayability!
6:05 is just so random
Space Engineers is my most played at 800h, any story game I only play once
PORTAL is a good one
i personally enjoyed re4 remack so much and 50 hour of playtime its preety good
resident evil 7 replay ability is almost 0. Combat with normal enemies is like most boring thing in re series ever, a lot of ammo and medkits makes planning not required. Try Re1 remake.
The only “filling” my burger needs is 25-30% fat
Outer wilds is my favorite game and a game with 0 replayability. Truly the most unique gaming experience i have ever had.
I find that if a game relies heavily on either its story or characters the replay value drops quite heavily as you've already seen the story and that characters arc I recently played through persona 5 royal and while i enjoyed my second playthrough it obviously suffered from me knowing both the story beats and what the characters went through luckily i played through new game+ and the wardens fights were great enough to keep it all fresh and doing the fishing minigame which i didn't have time for on the first playthrough as well as fully unlocking the compendium. However i remember being almost brought to tears saying goodbye to all of the characters i had fallen in love with on the first playthrough but on the second i still felt a bit sad by nowhere near my first playthroughs reaction.
You should play omori
Life is Strange was a great one time play through. Fucking love that game
I’ve played little nightmares 8 times because I wanted to see how quickly I could beat it. I beat it in 50 minutes
The replayablility of Outer Wilds is to watch every single playthrough from anyone who played it ever :D
The one game I'd love to forget and replay is the starwars: jedi series. Starwars Jedi: Fallen Order Starwars Jedi: Survivor These two games have by far been my go-to games to relax. I have easily got over 750 hours in both combined. A lot of people will disagree for different issues. Whether that be characters or story, but I really don't care. The mechanics in the games are brilliant, the visuals, the hints at the starwars story/legacy. I enjoy the story, and I would love to have my memory wiped when the third game releases so I could experience one and two again before three.
Ghost of Tsushima ruined gaming for me....nothing I play anymore compares to it. I tried God of War (2018) after Tsushima and it was too puzzle focused, it was basically kill enemies in a closed off area throw axes at levers rinse and repeat. I tried RDR2 and they had so many meaningless quests and after about 40 hours I was ready to be done only for it to go on for another 20 or so hours which ruined the experience because I look back on it like a tv show that overstayed its welcome. Tsushima left you wanting more. RDR made me say to myself multiple times "this has to be close to the end now." Tsushima was perfect in every way for me, length, atmosphere, story, combat, tone. now every time I boot up a new game I am unable to play it without comparing it to Tsushima which then ruins the experience. I know this is probably a me problem...but still.
bro breath of the wild is my favorite game but the problem is after 1 mabye 2 times playing through it you've seen anything i wish i could delet those memories and play it again
comic sans is god tier font and i wont stand for this herasy
Me after 800 hours and killing fatalis for the 100th time with 14 different beat sticks in mhw (this game is soo peak)
Kinda like in black myth wukong were you think a man is justified for killing a fox because a dream or vision were you later find out was just a dream and quest to find out more
I played Halo Infinite for over 300 hours. Boys, we can find joy in the worst franchises game.
Minecraft
12 minutes feels like this ong
3:47 i just bought that game 2 hours ago
what the fuck is the point of this video
The forest is the best multiplayer game i have ever played and its so replayable its like so much side , lore things i got 300+ hours with some of my friends
9:31 As a game developer, I truly appreciate that "There's always room for one more good game" line. That's a great quote
Disco Elysium is one of those games where it's fun to replay and find out a bunch of new stuff everytime cause you have so many varying decisions tp make. But nothing beats the very first run when you know NOTHING about it. I crave to make this very first experience again but it can only happen once :(
For replayabily is pretty important thing because most games now cost so much that just 12 hours isn't worth it. But one of the best games i thought i would LOVE to replay was cult of the lamb but turns out the who learning aspect and new discovery was the whole game and for the price yeah it was worth it. Not saying that some 60-70$/eur games aren't worth it but most aren't worth it if you only get 12 hours from it and the story was just oh that was cool, Because if you live in america it is a bit different 70 dollars usually is just a single work day so 12 hours is worth it but in most countries 60-70 dollars is 2-3 days worth of work so it just isn't worth the money and the effort put into getting the money.
I wish i could wipe my memory of persona 4 golden and play it again for the first time, one of my all time favorites.
Replayability is not necessarily about whether you missed something. There are linear games that are replayable just because they were fun. If it was fun I'll replay it. If it was a trash game - there may have been all sorts of "content" that I missed and I'm probably never going back to.
Diablo 2 is a great game
it's funny that i've re played TLoZ Skyward Sword like 9 times or so with it in my opinion being one of the least replayable games in the saga. It is my favorite game and I know it also is probably one of the worst 3d zeldas because of how linear and tedious it can be, but for me that tediousness is what makes the game fun and not fun at the same time, it just feels so good to finish the game after going through the same areas over and over and feel that you don't have to do it again.
Man RE7 is crazyyyy good
who tf puts breadcrumbs in a burger?
I feel like Payday 2 is an example of a game being Replayable. Even though you are doing the same heists over and over again, every single time it is different, There could be more dozers or cloakers. The cams room could be in a different place along with guard patterns. Hell even the amount of loot you get is random. But that is what made the game so fun to play in the first place was because it was Replayable
For me, Cyberpunk 2077, and the Witcher 3. These games can be replayed for different outcomes, but once you beat it, it felt like you just lost a friend and replaying it is just PTSD
Find it funny you mentioned little nightmares haha. I replay that near Christmas every year lol
What game is 1:13?
Hamburger: The Game
That is BioShock, the best game ever released in my opinion. Just don't expect the third game to be great.
@@AnimeeOheeefr
titanfall 2 and tales of arise are my 2 games that i wish i could erase my memory to play the game once more with clueless to the story because i was super immersed by the game during the playtime
burgers do not have breadcrumbs in them at all. u mean meatloaf or meatball probably
Unreplayable game. Heres one: Harry potter and the deathly hallows part 1. Do not ever fucking play that game just dont. It will suck every last drop of life energy out of you.
if you loved outer wilds, I'd recommend Tunic it has a very similar experience, and can only really be replayed for speedruns or achievements
STALKER REFRENCE
Buckshot roulette used to be unreplayable since the shells were the same every time however that's since changed
TUNIC is another good example of a game you can only truly experience once. I love the knowledge based progression; one day I will play Outer Wilds and I have high expectations that it'll be as amazing as I've heard.
Meanwhile Baldur's Gate 3 takes more than a hundred hours to complete (and you want to)
Try Subnautica if you want a game with nice story
a weird one, but for me the beginners guide had me feeling like that. the emotion it made me feel with the unique style of storytelling, it was just a beautiful experience that id die to be able to experience blind again
The best games are those that shouldn't be replayable but that you end up playing again anyway and enjoying it (e.g. Omori)
