@@bright4608 yeah 🤟
The best rythm guitarist ever.
Yeah Malcolm is a beast !
Awesome Rhythm Guitar By Malcom he is many times over shadowed by Angus. Both were Awesome
@@MetalHeart8787 yes sadly true, but he was a very very good guitarist
Love the Guitar on this one. always liked that slow groove of this song. Flick of the switch is Heavy & just under Rated
@@MetalHeart8787 yeah totally agree, flick of the switch is really underrated, there is good tracks on this album, this is a little sad
The tone from this album specifically is probably my favorite guitar tone of all time. I think of it as the definitive AC/DC tone. Vintage G12M’s, 4x12 1960A’s Super Bass, Super Lead, JTM50, and the SVDS. Thanks for the vid.
@@Timbiscuit12 no problem, yeah I like the tone of the guitar of Malcolm, I think you're right about the amp and the speakers that they used on this album!
The drummers out there...play to this. If you are out of time, it's your fault. 🤭
Yeah clearly ! Malcolm was a metronome !
I wish someone with access to the actual Back in Black master tapes would just separate the channels with a soundboard and release them. The way they stitched it together makes it hard to hear soft sounds in the mix. Even harder when they digitally remastered it for CDs, you get a fuller sound on the OLD vinyl records, because it was uncompressed..just straight analog. If you can get an OLD AC/DC record in decent shape, and play it on a good HiFi stereo, you’ll hear a huge difference if you’ve got a keen ear.
Yeah, this is the biggest problem with isolated tracks. Most of the time, the tracks on albums are sadly of lower quality than a live recording, and of course, they’re clearly not the same quality as the original tracks. I do the best I can!
thank you so much, please do more of the less known songs if you can
Okay no problem, I take notes of that, if you have an idea you can share them to me !
Ben moi j adore surtout ACDC et Malcolm était un génie et j adore écouter le son de sa guitare et le rythme ❤❤❤❤
Man, you can really hear the heft of that 4x12 cabinet. And Mal was probably the best to ever do it when it comes to rhythm guitar.
Yes, I totally agree with you !

Nice raunchy tone. I want a Gretsch now
@@Clint-cv3kv I have a g5222 with a sdf76 in it and it's sound awesome!
@@acdcISOLATED954 I’ve never played one because I’ve always played thinner necks like Fender and Jackson. How much did it cost if you don’t mind me asking?
@@Clint-cv3kv no problem, the original guitar costs me 480 euros, but with the sdf 76 you wan easily add 220 euros to the 480. Of course I have done others modifications, but they are very small...
@@acdcISOLATED954 thank you

He pounds on those strings. I don't even think he's running through a pedal. It's just his pick attack.
@@jacobpugh4096 no Malcolm didn't use pedal. On back in black it was only him, with his white falcon into many marshall, simple as it is !
@acdcISOLATED954 Awesome. And, thank you for isolating these tracks. It really gives me a new appreciation for his playing. Well done!
@@jacobpugh4096 no problem 👌🏻
@@jacobpugh4096 It sure does ! You can also check Haksul's isolations to know how Malcolm played in live !
As a Gretsch player myself, there's something strange about the high bridge/string combo, they are very dynamic guitars and can take very very hard strumming. See also Pete Townsend's use of the G6120 - also known as a heavy strummer
Unreal! Watched him for over 2 hrs at his last tour in Brisbane Australia on the Black I’ve tour! I’ll never forget
@@AdamNeideck-sc3ln sadly I never listen ac dc when Malcolm was alive. I have discovered this band in 2021...
Dam shame he became a crackhead and lost it all😢
@@TonyBro-t7q yup that's sad but this is the happiness of the music industry 😕
Yeah but aside that he hasn't got the energy anynore he seems to be doing pretty well recently

@@cameronkelly6134 hi, you're right, that's true !
hey, I´m trying to use one of the isolated tracks from ACDC in a youtube video (in another chanel) and it gives me a copyright claim (I don´t care if I don´t monetize, I still use the song because I like it) but it blocks the video in the whole world. How do you do to use the tracks without getting the video blocked? is it the description disclaimer only or is there a method to do it. Please it would really help me if you told me. Thank you beforehand

@@guillefiorito1915 thank you, no problem, and thanks for your feedback 👍👍
You know. I play bass. I appreciate the simplicity and its a lot harder than what most people think. Those eighth notes will get you lost. As for the complexity in the simplicity. You can hear the palm mutes in the verses. A lot of bass puritans say playing with a pick is sacreligeous. BS. Playing with a pick gives you the option of of the open strings. You can teplicate the synth sound on open strings instead of letting off slightly on the fretting fingers. Wow a simple bass line, right? But there ya go. The difference between hearing and listening. As for noodling and shredding? Is it really good for the song? Or is it just good for the musician's ego? I like Metal but a lot of times the Bass gets lost in the riffs. You can not say that about Cliff Williams' bass lines. You can hear them. Mainly because the two guitarists aka Young brothers leave that space open and do their thing. For those kick ass simple eighth notes that rumble through the song like a heart beat. And bass always stands out in ACDC songs on the verses and guitar solos. Simple as it is. And guitar is no more complicated as the bass lines. I used to play guitar too. Believe me nothing hard about it except how you play it. That is the hard part. What you play doesnt make you a good musician. Its how you play it that does. That is why Cliff Williams stand out.
@@daveweed2765 hi, that's a very long and a very good comment with a lot of verities. I think I don't need to add something to this comment, thanks you for the time that you have spend for writing it 👍.
Well said!! 🤘🤘
Learned a long time ago Cliff ain't so simple. Its so easy to get lost on those long runs of 1/8th so so you really get a lot of cues from the drums, the vocals and the guitar and you have to count. You got Rainy May Day which is full on slide guitar bluesy. So simple on bass but not so simple. Well it is so simple if you hear the song. So many nuances to it on bass to add to it. But simply you never need to go past the third frets on the E and A string. I mean that is the epitome of a bass player, right? Figure out what your guitar/guitars are playing and add some drama to it. Everything as as bass player is to add dramatics to the guitar/guitars in time with the drums. So add some octaves and slides. Perfect exame is Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath. Geezer slides up and down fto and from the Octave on tat diminished fifth its not a willy nilly slide up and down on bass. You have to slide up to the octave fast and back down and hit the G again. That means sliding up to the 16th fret on the A string to get the same effect exactly why you have dots on the fretboard and straps. That Csharp or Dflat and octave higher slid up and down than playing the same note on the D or G string. A slide on the A string just gives emotion albeit it dark to the song. Way more darker than on guitar. As a basdist you deal and play in frequencies that add discomfort on a more subconscious level. On covers I try to keep the notes closer to the nut as I can. Playing bass is a bitch. So much more than guitar. So much more posdibilties though.
Sounds like quite a few punch ins throughout. But great pick attack!

Malcolm is the best hands down... raw precision! Angus said it best when he was asked "how does it feel to be the greatest guitar player in the world?"... and he said "what are you talking about?"... I'm not even the greatest guitar player in my own band! 😏

@@acdcISOLATED954Hi, it's a very simply bass line in this song. And when it's isolated, there's nothing to show for the people.
@@marcinszadyn5026 okay, thanks for your reply ! Yes simple but very important in the mix, I isolated the bass for me or for people who want to match the tone of is bass, just simple as is it ! 👍
The human metronome🤘
That's right, he's always forgotten in Ac/Dc, this is a little sad because for me, he's just the best !
Mal was following Rudd, he’s the human metronome. They are locked together.
