Then you will see several soldered points. From time and vibration, those wires soldered into brake loose, that's why the flickering occurs. Those points need to be resoldered by touching them with hor gun. Problem solved. Why he didn't mention it? Just bring your car to me and I am gonna charge you $500.

I'm actually having the same issue with my cluster right now, neither one of my screens is working nor is my speedometer working. The only thing on my dash that works is my gas gauge and my temp gauge. But my car is a retired taxi, so I'm wondering if maybe they spliced some wires to put in the meter. I'd really love to see a video of how to take the dash apart, Not just have it explained. But I usually only find videos of the people who have already taken apart the dash beginning to work with the cluster or are just explaining what they have done to the cluster.

I have an 03 Town car with the same issue, Good to know it's just a loose connection. I kind of figured it was to begin with considering it occasionally works in extreme cold or extreme heat it'll function for a little while and then it'll quit. I've been using an OBD2 reader and a app on my phone to watch my speed and basic gauges like the temperature. Even though the temperature and gas gauges still work but the speedometer and the screens do not.

Sucks to hear people are having issues with the sunroof. I had a 2017 with 35k miles and the sun shade got stuck open open but no sunroof issues. Now I have a QV and am watching this because I want to install the exposed carbon fiber roof lol

This can be fixed with $200 worth of parts from the dealer and only removing the headliner, aside from the two tubes to be replaced. Maybe you had something else break on this one, but all the other broken sunroofs were fixed with just replacing the tubes with an updated part from the dealer...... Only takes a couple hours.

If the nut is swollen from rust, you run a looser socket. A chinese one. Not your most expensive and tightest fitting socket. 😂😂😂😂😂 You just did it exactly backwards from rational behavior. 😂😂😂 And made a video about your stupid behavior. And you use a torch or induction heater so as not to damage the threads on the stud. Unless you wana change that also.

Opened up the back "water damage on circuit." Cleaned up some controls are back 👍🏻

Is there a way to manually close the roof? It's all the way forward, just won't go down.

On cracked dashboard plastic, they can be repaired by application of a very small amount of ABS cement align them accurately and taping into place. Allow to set for about thirty minutes, carefully turn the part to expose the back side of the part. Procure a roll of sheet rock tape the yellow fiberglass type and lay the tape over the repair area cut to size and apply a thin layer of ABS cement to the area the tape covers, and apply tape to cemented section. Rotate the tape for successive layers about 15 degrees from the first trim as required and apply ABS cement repeat for a minimum of three layers. Allow to set between layers so that that cement will cure if you apply to much cement the part will soften and distort and may take days to become fully cured. Tin snip or good quality scissors will cut the tape. Work quickly as ABS cement will cure quite rapidly. Highly recommend using gloves like the Black nitrile type to keep cement off your hands, avoid touching the finished side of the repair piece to avoid damage to it's finish. Good Luck.

That's not the HVAC/heater control module. That's just the radio control. I just found it behind the passenger side dash above the glovebox. Now I need to figure out how to get to it.

Hello I have a question so I got a 2003 Lincoln town car and my clusters speedometer don’t work & also it doesn’t show the mileage nor trip it just shows a bunch of lines - - - - - could this be a fuse problem or what could be the problem ?? Plz help I’ve been braking my head trying to find the problem.

Me and my brother replaced both valve cover gaskets front on is the easiest part no lifting required people just remove your torque straps radiator hose and your fans it will slide right out the back one we got torque straps and ratcheted the engine forward backbone came right out
