Yes, better to have a ChargePoint account created, I think it asks for a card to be on file, though I am not sure of that. This will save you time when you pull up to the charger. You just plug in, select the charger on app and start charging.

We usually check the Texas state park website and look for 50 Amp hookup sites, they have a map and usually a photo of the site attached. We also make sure to reserve the site well in advance, so we know we can pull into a site that has charging option.

Thank you! I have not noticed any micro scratches with this method, I was skeptical about the automated washes and the brush might be too harsh. Will check next time is if I notice any. Yes on that seats, just be sure to wipe it off real quick after you spray. So working with small area with seats works better.

Thank you! You have few options to stop the charging - you can do that from the Charge Point app, from your Tesla app or you can unplug the charging cable to stop charging when even you wish to stop. Best option would be stop it from Tesla app, then unlock charger and remove it safely.

Correct on all points. It's not that easy a climb, better option would be to go in from the passenger doors. But, if you have the option, it's better to go in from trunk as you will not have to go out of the tent.

I think it sees better than humans at night, I feel cameras in general work better with day light, so it probably sees better during day time. But, if the streets are not lit up, sometimes when you make a turn you might not see the lane markings till you complete the turn and light hits it. But with Tesla I think it can see it before making a trun due to the camera setup (probably wider aperture).

My Tesla is a 2020 model, ordered in 2019, both the charger and J1772 adapter were included with the car. I am not sure if it's included now, may be if you bought the charging cable. Tough not sure if Feb orders they had updated the site to order the chargers separately.

A friend just got his Tesla, which he had ordered in October. The J1772 adapter was in the car when he picked it up. The mobile charging cable was not. He got a voucher for that, and used it to buy the cable online.

Just a bit I think, we have not camped in summer with this setup, so I can't say for sure how efficient the camp mode would be in cooling the tent. If you keep the AC at lowest, then you might feel the tent cool down a bit.

Thank you for the feedback! we lived in heights for a few years as well! As for the pronunciation, I am used to British pronunciation which is bee-tuh (I looked it up to confirm) . So that rolls off easy, but will see if I can try the American pronunciation.
