Hi it's a real experience that you have shared. I am mom of 2 boys one s 5yr old another is 9yr old.also am working mom in UK.we r thankful to my parents and inlaws who has helped us to raise the child. However personally I don't sleep very close to my children as they keep on moving and that was too disturbing for me . Also I don't engage them continuously.what I feel is u give ur 24hrs to ur child and in turn she needs u 24hrs.so better leave her with dad and practice.take me times,go for walk along with music,stay in nearby hotel for 2 days to get long sleep.my parents,aunts are all working.they taught me like children will grow with or without ur presence. So don't pay too much attention to ur kid.pls give priority to ur health.

Keep some dosa idli batter handy for the baby and cook simple meals for a couple of days or order out meals so when baby is at school you can rest … sleep backlog will get to you after a while.Been through this so just giving you a sisterly advise. take care da
