Thanks for the performance. I can feel the difference. The more clear sound of the modelled roland vs the small imperfections captured on the yamaha that make it feel more real. Honestly I have no idea which one I like more. And I'm torn between the 2 since i'm in the process of buying 1 right now.

Brockoo6 - These are absolutely beautiful sounding pianos played by a great pianist. I love both but the Estonia really has the warmth that I listen for in this kind of noodling around. I wouldn't mind Stuart if you played this back to back with the C. Bechstein 190. Thank you for inspiring me with your music.

As an owner of a Roland FP-E50 I like the sounds and interface it provides. The large display is very helpful and the sounds are excellent. Great key response and feel. It helps that I added a iLoud external speaker set.

My ears can distinguish DGX concealed 12bit from Roland's 16bit sound quality.

You know, it just hit me why Stu is using headphones when playing. It's because the sound is being line-outted and therefore he has to have headphones to actually hear what he is playing.

The Estonia L190 sounds very open and pure in sound. I am so impressed with it. A small side note: a little out of unison which needs a little tuning. The SK3 sounds like a Steinway.

Can you adjust the decay of the notes? On must digital pianos the sound decays to fast

Anything sounds good with Stu behind on the piano stool. I bought a FP30X and I find the Bright piano setting is the best. Classical piano setting is too bland and somewhat flat.

I love both pianos and I'd gladly take either one over my 40 year old Yamaha GHB1. That being said, I really love the SK-3 sound. To me it makes me feel like I'm being wrapped in th sound like a warm comforter on a cold night... But if someone said here's the L-190, I'd take it without hesitation 😊

You certainly know how to get the best sound out of a piano. I bought the FP30x as a beginner learner. Not disappointed with my purchase but soon came to learn there is a huge difference in sound to an acoustic. Looking to buy a Yamaha as I am told they are bright which might be a good starting point as a learner rather than something more mellow and subtle.

Which can last longest in a tropical climate?

As far as I can tell, there is no Yamaha 255. The new P125 is the P225, not P255. It’s going to make your video difficult for people to find naturally.

It's evident the difference between direct line and stereo microphones as source and the first is more powerful and with sound details. Besides in Fp60x acoustic grandpiano sounds deep in the lower part of keyboard. However I prefer Fp30x even if with 11w x 2 instead of Fp60x 18w x 2, expecially for its lower price. In its range Fp30x is N.1!!!!!!!

The Roland FP-E50 is a piece of crap. I just return it to the music store and replaced it with the Yamaha DGX670. Worlds apart.
