I think it's a little interesting that the most triumphant and uplifting song on the OST (at least for me) has the name Guardians... It's clear Bungie always had Marathon on the mind when making Destiny from stuff like the MIDA multi-tool but I wonder if this can be just a coincidence. Not to mention it being song #7 too...
