You can do with or without. If you do it with, then it becomes a binocular training exercise.

I don’t have lazy eye but one of my eyes vision is weaker than the other so if I close the good eye the bad eye will be blurry far away but fine when something is close up with my good eye everything is fine and I can see well so my good eye is doing all the work while my bad eye is slacking off basically

Vision therapy is AMAZING. After a bad concussion, I lost hand eye coordination. After 2 months of vision therapy, I was able to read and drive again!

Woooow this is amazing excercise. In my green-red glasses I can see how my amblyotic (lazy eye) get tired with each level and missfollowing or being slower then healthy eye. Thank you so much for this video ❤

Not fully factual, you can’t fix a lazy eye when you get to a certain age with surgery in some case!

I’m kinda confused, can’t you do the same with two cameras where the eyes should be? Because the previous one looks a lot funnier than just slicing discs.
Yes, but then the user can cheat by closing one eye or the other (to notice the slight difference in size), or if the billboard is not fixed, they can shift around to see other contextual clues. The goal is make it indiscernible through one eye and only discernable through both eyes to make sure that both eyes are working together.

My lazy eye is where my left eye goes crossed while the right eye is normal also known as strabismus
Im unique for lazy eye, as both my eyes are lazy, one is slightly stronger than the other though. Although my vision is very clear, it is heavily improved when I wear glasses, everything looks more defined and vibrant. My lazy eye did cause many kids to find me weird, they'd ask, "Can you see clearly?", "What is your eye doing?", "Lazy eye sounds made up to me.", and "Were you in a car accident? is that why your eye is like that?" It made me very annoyed when people asked questions about it.
Oh your like me, our type of lazy eye is called intermittent exotropia. Which only happens in 1% of the population

I don't understand why wouldn't you make it available without an optometrist? I'd rather pay $200-$300 dls for this for this than $3K for a vision therapy program that I don't even know if it will work.

I should report the eyes for teaming it’s unfair
there is no way for an oculus Rift (nor does the Quest or Quest 2) know where your eyes are pointed. They do not have eye tracking on the headset.
We use the Tobii eye tracker to know where the eyes are pointing. It’s mounted below the monitor.
