Yes it is fine for that application we sell a 3-4” Chain though and I would suggest using that. It elongates the front and gives it more pushing power 👍

No it connects via wifi to communicate to the app but doesn't use data or internet.

Hello Bryan, Internet connection is not required, this uses a network to connect from the Reel to Monitor, phone or tablet. So if you happen to be an area without internet you are still able to connect.

We do use a similar cable to drain cable it is just reverse wound 👍.

There is a drill chuck adapter that goes on the end of the cable and you lock the drill down on it 👍.

Is this a flex shaft

Looks like a great tool in combination with the camera.

@@paulwilliams6753 I have been using the flex shaft for a good 2 years now and it's a great machine.This model is different because they use a steel cable and not a brass wound cable.This cable is not as flexible as the rigid or the other brands but it seems tougher and it's easier to push down a 4 inch pipe because it's not as soft.

@@paulwilliams6753 No problem if you decide to buy one it's worth the money.It comes with a drill type head that you can attach to the front of the cable.This head is good for punching into a clog.I have found it helps with the softer brass cables.These machines do a great job on roots and descaling cast iron pipe.Not so good with the wet wipes because the wipes get caught in the chains but it will unblock the drain you might have to pass the cable a second time if it bogs down because of wipes.

@@handylandlord hey... I'm now seeing this. So far its excellent, but only for outdoor use. When using it indoors that 100feet is really bulky. So I'm ordering a 25 foot same 3/8". I also designed and built a 36" diameter out of pvc for ease of working. The price on this unit is heavy but its about ¼ way paid for itself in the past month. Soon ill be in the profit zone.
