I liked the irony of buying a saw made in the US in the UK to take back to the US. Hope you had a wonderful visit John Alec - I couldn’t make Telford as I have a medical driving ban at the moment but it looks to have been good!

I needed a compass at Telford.. kept losing my bearings 😂. It was really great (lucky) to bump into you both, and many others from the Airfix n Chill stream etc. It was so busy, Saturday. I wish I'd thought of getting tools and accessories too. Get well soon, John

I first tried the Bronco version, and it was ridiculously, needlessly fiddly, almost impossible. That Tamiya version is just as detailed,but it moulds teeny-tiny parts onto larger parts rather than expecting you to bull them in place with oversized tweezers. An easy kit with no guessing.

Q: on my F15 after covering the marble basing with base color the surface ended up a bit too rough. I probably sprayed too far. what sanding grit u recommend to smooth it out without damaging paint job ?

Q: I have the H&S infinity. Dry tips a lot with AK, Vallejo, Ammo paints. Maybe better results w/ Mr Color or Tamiya ? Also, trigger response isn’t good, have to pull back almost 1/4 for paint to flow. On my Iwata Neo, slight pull and good to go. Is this normal ?

Excellent work, I use automotive paint on my models and I have had very good results, I don't even need to polish after painting, as the paint surface is very smooth and very shiny, but this comes from the experience I have of 25 years, I usually heat the pieces in the sun before they are painted, heating mechanically after applying a varnish ensures that the varnish is very smooth and gives the solvent time to evaporate.
