Hike around Los Cahorros de Monachil - 4K
The day after snowboarding in Sierra Nevada, I went on to explore another amazing area close to Granada. This time, my girlfriend and I went on a hike at "Los Cahorros de Monachil". We heard a lot of nice things about this hike, but we were still surprised and impressed by this place. Hope I captured at least a glimpse of its true beauty.

What's it like snowboarding in Spain? Discovering SIERRA NEVADA - 4K
Просмотров 1586 месяцев назад
This year I spent 1 month in Spain visiting and just enjoying this wonderful country. I stayed mostly in Granada, which is quite close to these interesting mountains, so I took advantage of this and went snowboarding for 1 day to see what Sierra Nevada is all about and to make this video. Hope you enjoy watching it! Don't forget to leave a comment!

The crew is back! If you've seen episode no. 1 (Fun Times in Les Arcs & La Plagne) then you already know my friends and our humour. If you haven't seen it, go and watch it; the episode is longer and the mountains bigger. However, I do hope you enjoy this short episode as well because it takes place in our home country, in a resort dear to us: Poiana Brașov 🌲 We had a great time skiing and snowb...
EDINBURGH around New Year's Eve (Arthur's Seat, Dean Village, Portobello Beach + a bunch of museums)

I was always fascinated by Scotland because "The Highlander" was my favorite TV series (also loved the movies) when I was a kid. I heard they're remaking it now (the only remake I'm excited about). As an adult I rediscovered Scotland through another great TV series called "The Outlander", so I finally decided to go there myself and see it with my own eyes. I got the chance to send some postcard...

A couple of years ago I started learning Spanish and ever since, I've found myself becoming more attracted to the variety of cultures that share this beautiful language. Living in Romania, the closest Spanish speaking country is... well... Spain. It's not such a long flight to get there so it quickly became my favorite destination the last few years, giving me a great opportunity to practice my...
Fun Times in the French Alps (La Plagne & Les Arcs) 4K
Просмотров 10 тыс.Год назад
Around October, last year(2022), my friends and I had already booked our usual February ski trip in the French Alps. It was a good thing to get everything out of the way and not leave anything for the last minute (we had done so the previous year and it was more stressful and more expensive). However, this put us in a state of permanent excitement and we just couldn't wait for the trip. So we w...
Awesome video, looks like it's definitely worth going there sometime. I always enjoy watching your adventures, gives me some motivation to book something as well :) Have a good one
I appreciate you always commenting. Thank you! I'll post something new soon 👍
Great video, thanks for sharing your dreams.

what kind of beer was it?
I don't remember, but it was a good one 🍺 😄
Great video!! 😊
Thank you!
Super video!! Felicitări!! Așteptăm noi călătorii 😊❤ și povești!

Winter sunlight is a warm old soul, spreading love in the bitter cold. Sun, blue skies and the "swoosh" sound of snow, like a perfect hoop in a basketball match...my kind of a good day!
Nicely put 👏👍
Very fun video, looking forward to your next snowboarding adventure
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoy my videos 👍
Really enjoyed it there when we went 5 years ago.
Great place. What did you like most about it?
@@PostcardNinja I thought it had great slopes for beginners so was perfect for me back then 😊
The view is simply breathtaking, mate, but it ain t nothing compared to your spanish. 😂 Good job on the video, you have to travel more often so you can keep them coming.
Maybe I'll do an episode just in Spanish 😬
Awesome video 🏂⛷️
appreciate your short, yet human comment 🙏
The resort has an alpine vibe, I didn't expect to see something like this in Spain
Indeed. It's a great place 🏔️
Looks so cool 🏂
😬
The escalators are a perfect touch for any ski resort 👌
especially for lazy people like us
In your search for food you shot right past Mamas Kitchen - a pub with a built in kebab counter! I was in there nearly every day 😂
We love some kebab 🤤🤤🤤
Blessed to share the slopes with Catalin’s elegance @postcardninja @catalinmdk
A privilege indeed 🧐
Nice one!
Thanks!
Great video, guys!⛰️
Thanks for watching 👍
Portobello beach looks amazing 😯
Great place 🌊
Very useful ! ✌️
Glad you think so 👍
Such good memories
Indeed 😁
Haha, saw our postcard in the video 😁 it arrived last week 😅 Very nice video, I will definitely use some of the recommendations when we’ll visit Edinburgh. It’s on the list.
😁👍
The music goes very well with the video! It makes me wanna travel again and visit all those beautiful places. Thanks <3
Thank you! Glad you liked it! 😊
Nice! This one is a very soothing and relaxing video, I really enjoyed it. About the big cities vs. villages thing, I share your thoughts. For ex, I’ve just came back from a trip in Spain and Madrid felt unfriendly and insecure, the locals seemed mostly unfriendly, possibly due to tourist fatigue. Unlike Malaga or Valencia, that I enjoyed very much. I recommend also a train trip, we were impressed.
Thank you! Appreciate your feedback. I generally like Madrid, but maybe things changed since my last visit, for it's been a while. I'll go again soon and I'm curious if I'll change my mind 🤔
Hi great video! Have you guys visited dolomite’s cortina d’ampezo in Italy ? I am deciding between Les arcs or Italy
Hi! No. We've only skied/snowboarded in Courmayeur(Alps) in Italy. Lovely place. Maybe soon in the Dolomites 🤞
Awesome ‘ ! I am deciding between Les arcs or Dolomites .. Les arcs has more green blue trails so may visit Les arcs first
❤️ loved it
😁 stay tuned for more
beautiful shots and the ending is 🤌🏻 go George ❤
Thank you! 👍 Glad you liked it!
Another awesome video! Hoping to see more of your adventures, is there another ski trip on the horizon?
I appreciate you watching my videos. Ski trip in February. I'll be posting my trip to Edinburgh 🏴 next week tho'. Thanks for the comment! 👍
Just came back from Les Arcs/La Plagne myself today, I'll probably re-watch your video and now I'll be able to recognise some if not all of the spots you went to :) Can't wait to see those videos! @@PostcardNinja
@@rubenayy71 Did you enjoy the place? What did you think of it? ⛰
Amazing area for snowboarding, I especially liked going from the top of Aiguille Rouge to the bottom at Villaroger. 11km of slopes, in one run about 25 minutes. Next time I hope to see more of La Plagne as we were located in Arc 2000.@@PostcardNinja
Yeah, that's a great run. 3200 m altitude to 1200m, if I recall. We like it a lot as well.
Fun times!😁⛷️ great video😎
We should do it again! ⛷️⛷️🏂⛷️⛷️
Great roads, great landscapes ! 🛣🏞 great video 🎥
Thanks! It's a beautiful country! 🇪🇸
That’s beautiful. Where do you rent snowboard in Les arcs ?
Well I didn't rent, I brought my own board and equipment, so I don't really know, but I think there are plenty of places where you could rent.
Thank you for your response. I have found a place 😊
Glad to hear that!
@@PostcardNinja where is your next snowboarding 🏂 adventure?
@@TuffTgr probably in our home country, Romania. We'll go this week if there's enough snow.
Cádiz brings back such nice memories ☺️
Cádiz is the best 😁
This is one of the best videos I’ve watched in a long time, hoping you do more.
Thank you 🙏 I'll be posting episode number 2 these days, but it's about a motorcycle trip in Spain. Hope you watch it! Don't forget to like and subscribe 👍😁
The off piste part around minute 40, where exactly in La Plagne is that? I'v been there a few times and will actually return this season and can't really identify where it is :D
I don't quite remember how we entered that area, but I think that the chalet I reach at the end of that run is "Le Chalet de Verdons Sud" (tho' I might be wrong, so don't take my word on that and triple check before you go anywhere that it is indeed safe) This video is just for entertainment purposes and please don't try to reproduce the actions in it. Stay safe and respect the local rules and guidelines.
@@PostcardNinja thanks man, I appreciate the detailed answer! Of course I will ski according to my abilities, the snow conditions and the local guidelines :)
Great video keep it up. Hope to visit Les Arcs one day
I hope so too! It's a great place! 🔝 Thanks for watching! 👍
Salutare!! 🖖 Les Arcs or La Plagne for a beginner? Found a good place in Arc 1600. What do you think about that plac? Cheers!
Salutare! Hello! I've been 4 times to these mountains and I've stayed 3 times in Les Arcs 1800 and 1 time in La Plagne(this time, in the video). It's all kinda interconnected, so you can pretty much get to all of the sloaps (provided that they're open) with different lifts and gondolas, but we tended to ski/snowboard more on our area of the mountain(ex. This year we skied more in La Plagne since that's where we had our accomodation) Both Les Arcs and La Plagne have sloaps for different levels. We've only went to Arc 1600 a couple of times I think, so I can't say much about it, but most of these resorts are pretty nice. 🏔️
Thanks, appreciate it. Everywhere looks amazing anyways 😅 can’t wait!
Have fun and take care! 😊
We love this vid, thanks for making it. We are the same as you getting excited for our trip!
So glad you liked it and that we share that special feeling before a trip! Have fun there and take care! ☺️⛷️🏂
great edit 🎞️
Thank you 😁
Nice video! You guys are so funny and your english it s great. Also, always good a have a handy man in your circle of friends. Keep them coming man! So excited for the next one. 🤝
Thanks! 😃
Cheers guys! Nice trip and lots of fun. 10x for the "ride". Smooth vid as well 📽 🎬 Where are you from? Are planning to revisit La Plagne!?
Have you been to Les arcs?
Great place, awesome video! Next time dont forget to take us there for even better fun 😅!
Next time! 😄
Hey everyone! Thanks for watching! Don't forget to LIKE & Subscribe! 👍
What time of year was this? Looks great
Beginning of February. Thank you!
Great video. Very professional. I went to Les Arcs Feb 2022 with a friend and loved it so much I am going again on 27Th December in three weeks, with my wife, two daughters, their boyfriends and my son! Found 2 air BnB apartments in Bourg st Maurice right next to the funicular which gets us to les arcs 1600 in 7 minutes. Worked out a lot cheaper.
Sounds like a great idea! Thank you for your feedback and have fun! P.S. We were there also in Feb 2022, so at the same with you and your friend. Maybe we passed each other on the slopes :D
Looks amazing! Heading out with family in February 2024 can't wait!
Thank you! Hope you and your family have fun!
😳 'Promosm'
I'm doing exactly what you did but a year later. Trip to La Plagne booked for next Jan, watching youtube vids in anticipation. Thanks!
We know the feeling 😊 Have fun and thanks for watching!
How much ‘ski time’ do you get each day? Heading to La Plagne in Feb 24, and curious of how much light you get. Read a few different things online
Well we started the day early, trying to catch the first lift around 9 o'clock and we'd get ready to end the day at around 4 or 5 pm (I think). But it depends on the ski lift as some of them have different schedules and it also depends on the weather conditions. Being such a large area, you'd want to calculate your time around the ski lifts schedule so that you don't get stuck on the other side of the mountain. Here's a link to Les Arcs ski lifts schedule: en.lesarcs.com/our-packs-ski-passes I couldn't find one for La Plagne.
