Not a bad pair of speakers. a couple of steps above the average table top radio. A subwoofer would make it rockin in the bass department.

I have a set of DM303. They’re fantastic speakers, especially when paired with a good subwoofer. I have a Paradigm PDR 10 subwoofer which I re foamed and it sounds excellent alongside the 303s. They sound fine without a sub for some genres: The bass from them, while quite tight, is a little recessed compared to many other speakers their size, hence why I have the sub.

Como configurar este avr40,para que me suene las salidas frontales. ya que solo me estan funcionando la central( que solo es ua). y las rear. funcionan pero se hoyen como con retardo. o difinitivamente le quemaron las salidas frontales.(pregunto). ya que asi lo consegui y no soy tan nuevo en esto, de conectar bafles en amplificadores.alguna idea.gracias.

The 701 series 1 are good in sound but not excellent, a bit weak on mid's but still ok , now the 901's are wrong, they need to be reversed..

The Bose sounds so much more real. Klipsch is a brilliant example of what's wrong with modern speakers. Boring, sterile and tiring on your ears.

I have the 301/3 mine are the best sounding bose speaker's now, otherwise it is a bose😒no highs mids or lows it must be bose. how? i swaped the silly component's inside, it have just a light bulb inside acts like a fuse, one elko for the woofer and a resistor for the tweeter's and thats it, now it works with another decent crossover from visaton, it sounds like the bose speaker that bose should have done that way. There are highs mids an lows now it sounds like bose. Mutch wider sound stage, crisp highs and mids, and a decend bass on a lower level, perfect for background music, it is worth it.

Have it on 2 15"s 2 pold audio monitor 60 2 boston acoustic cr6. Louder than you want in my living room.

The comparison of these speakers is not apples to apples. The 601 Series II are reflecting speakers and they image the instruments while the Klipsch direct the sound directly to wherever you point them to. A better correct test would be to pair both sets of speakers such that you measure (or listen to) their audio output at a common listening point. I own a pair of the 601s and they're truly fantastic! The Klipsch debut herein sound wonderful too. Thank you, nonetheless.

Just one comment....try playing real music in a demo if you expect to impress people or get them to watch the whole video...I dont know what you were playing but it so lacked any musicality that I quit after 30 secs and then checked 30 seconds later just to see if you put any real program material and it was the same crap. You lose credibility by playing source material that isnt universally acceptable. Totally alienated me.

I have a pair but they are modded with crossover, water putty filler in the cabinet and special box foam. The box improvement really avoid a hollow sound when you turn them up.

Bought these in 1991 for under $150 brand new. still enjoying them all these years later, only had to refoam the woofers which was a piece of cake and replace the grill fabric, all in all quite cheap and easy to do!
