Question po, pano po kung hindi lumalamig yung AC. Parang bumubukas po yung compressor pero bumibitaw din siya kaya parang nagiging fan nalang. Hindi na malamig. 😓

Para sa akin as much as possible avoid portable aircon, problem is the intake ng fresh air for the condenser hinihigop din sa loob ng room kaya nababawasan ang lamig, remedy is lagyan ng hood yung air intake ng condenser at lagyan din ng tube/duct at ikuha ng fresh air from the outside, you'll need nakakaintindi sa airconditioning.

Does your tcl turn on and off the compressor every few minutes ? Mine is new and it run for 3 min then turn off and only fan work then 5 min only fan and then 3 minutes cool air - is this normal ?

Those portable air cons are just helping, it's not as efficient as window type and even less than split. Like op said, it's nice when you're not allowed for other aircon types. Keep In mind, op s unit isn't much exposed to sun, there is another condo in front, 'and only 1 wall is exposed. This is not efficient enough if you're top floor, corner unit or house.. But again, it would help. In south exposed 25sqm room, it would not lower temperature more than 2 degree C

Yung 1hp ko na same model nyan nasa 685 watts lang konsumo may power meter aq sa pag check. Pag on palang nasa 875 watts tapos after 2 hrs nasa 715 watts tapos after 9hrs pag gising ko nasa 685watts nlng. Naka set sa cool 18c + low fan. Ginawa ko rin syang dual hose bumili ako sa shopee nung parang exhaust hose na aluminum tapos inline fan. Bali sa labas sya hihigop ng hangin para sa condenser kaya same na efficiency nung portable ac ko sa window type . Dati nung wla pang dual hose sobrang bagal lumamig tapos non stop yung compressor di ma reach yung set na temp kasi hinihigop pala nya yung hangin sa kwarto tapos binubuga palabas. Di rin masyadong malamig di tulad nung nag dual hose ako ice cold na sya at 1hr lng malamig na buong kwarto

I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

Thank you for a good review (and in enough English for me to understand it too). One question: Does the fan always operate? When does the cooling fan in the inverter start to operate/spin? 1. As soon as the inverter is plugged into the cigarette lighter (power source) socket? (even without any load on it) 2. Or does it only spin when there is load on the inverter (ie. when it supplies electricity to a 220v AC powered device?) 3. Does the fan operate even if you are just charging a USB device? The reason for my question is that I would like to connect this to a 12v battery, and the inverter will be next to me (near my head) charging 2 of my phones via USB while I am sleeping. I am worried that the fan would make too much noise (if it is in operation / spinning while charging usb devices) for me to sleep properly.
