My mind was made up about moving to Montreal (of all Canadian cities, is the one that I find the most interesting). However, since I don’t speak French, I suppose, my options for employment, would be very limited. And while I’d be more than willing to learn language (and adjust to the Quebec culture) I really don’t think I should go through such long/complicated process of adjusting, if I could just move to a city, in which finding life in Canada (I’m a foreigner) would be so much easier (and comfortable). In any case, Calgary, is also a beautiful place. It may not seem to have the "charm" that Montreal has (and all the “cool things” a mega city has to offer) but at least, it seems decent, clean, safe, and affordable. So far, for me, I guess the only issue of Calgary, would the transportation. But I guess I would have to figure out a way of living in this beautiful city without a car for a while (not going to be fun). We'll see. Anyway, thanks to taking the time of reading my dramatic life story. Lol. Also, thanks for this informative video. Subscribed.

You are correct that most people who participated in the Council deliberations are against blanket rezoning, which will be a top election issue in 2025; it's not over. When you buy a home in a particularly zoned neighbourhood, you make a contract with the City's zoning there; individual properties can certainly be renegotiated, not blanket rezoning that undermines your contract.
