1950 binocular 3 tube collimator
This is a 1950's Binocular Collimator that I purchased from Ebay. And I am trying to figure out how to use it with my binoculars. Any help is appreciated. I was assisted by a member on Cloudynights.com in finding a military maintenance manual, but the process for mounting a pair of binoculars appears to be somewhat different than the design of this unit.
Here is a link to the manual if you wish to take a look.

Carolina Wren Babies First Flight
Просмотров 25Год назад
A pair of Carolina Wren's decided to make a nest on my deck about a month ago. Well, eventually they were successful in laying eggs and hatching chicks. This is the day of their first flights. They are on a covered 2nd story deck, between a rolled up tarp and a house window. When they jump off the window sill, they are about 3 ft down to the deck itself. So the first jump is on video. Next time...
Probably missing a significant number of parts, best of luck finding what you need to make it usable...
The first chick slipped while feeding, and fell off the window sill. The second chick got pushed off by a third chick. The rest four saw that the first two were having fun on the ground, and eventually all leapt off at the end. Congrats for having capture this moment after weeks of tending to them. How do they get back?
I love how when there was the last chick on the ledge the parent went and checked the nest to make sure that there were no other hiding or left behind. And they seem pretty good at making sure that everyone gets fed.
