E P Hello! your story is so compelling and motivating for me. I was recommended to have a hysterectomy about six years ago. I put it off because I didn’t want to be out of work for six weeks and I didn’t want to have a large incision. But over time my fibroids have just grown worse and bigger. I now have them at the size of a six month pregnancy. It seems in the six years that I have waited new procedures have come about and this is one of them by Dr. Mackoul. I feel like the universe was making me wait until a new procedure was created. I am meeting with a doctor next week who, within the last five years, has been trained on laparoscopic surgery for hysterectomys. I’ve been told that she doesn’t do the large incision. I had the myomectomy and it took me just abt 4 weeks to stop feeling pain after the surgery i was in so much pain i thought i wld faint..its not the same for everybody...also the procedure is a little over 100,000... my claim is still pending but yeah..no1 mention the real cost during the process..also this doctor is kinda awkward and cold...no one mentioned that either..but i am feeling bttr
