@@eugenekris8562 the sad thing is there is no one else for Gawin :(. Everyone else is paired. Even the secondary cp's have their pairs. Krist is the only one because he's without a partner too. It would have to be a new actor and that sometimes doesn't work. Oh ,Win lost Bright but i have a feeling he doesn't want to do BL anymore. As for GK, people adore them, keep them together. I'll check out the edits in the meantime.

Yeah I wonder why his ship with Podd didn't sail, they looked good on & off screen. I don't think Krist will be in another BL or official ship with anyone again. GK do look really good on screen, but not off screen. I do hope GK go official but I think it's not good for Gawin to paired with Krist, cos a lot fans still worship peraya. Gawin would gain more if he was in a good ship, or given more opportunity on stage. It such a loss, this is just how BL industry works.

That's also get me questioning why Gawin is less popular; he sure is taller, he has the look, he also a BL actor, he even act & sing better than any of his peer BL actors. Why, just why?

@@eugenekris8562 Phuwin has a whole Chinese background he plays up to a Chinese audiences which has a lot of crazy saesang fans. Also, it’s because in the Asian market which a lot of the BL fan base is from, it consist of younger schoolgirls. Between Phuwin and Gawin, I can see why Phuwin is more popular. He’s looks more like their age bracket of crushing on someone in the whole age bracket thing. It’s more culturally appealing to like someone who is closer to your age than someone older. Its different from a western culture where you view the older guy as being the more desirable person. It’s really sad that GMMTV didn’t promote him in shipwork but it could be also due to Covid during his time when he should be shining. But then I think of bad actors like BrightWin and I don’t get how they went global when they are such bad actors. Bright isn’t as talent in singing as Gawin and Win is a worst singer than Phuwin. I don’t get this ship at all. But the good news is they can finally get out of BL now that Bright is leaving GMMTV. He can get on his his spokesmodeling career. Who knows if he practice his singing he can maybe make it as a singer too. Just keep out of acting, especially BL. Many fans of his were happy he’s not doing BL anymore. For this I agree, he can take his terrible acting out of the BL space.

I admit Phuwin androgynous face indeed is beautiful but Gawin sure can act & sing better. He finally get the lead in BMF but why it is so underrated? BMF is far more than 2gether or any other BL. (I have the same thought as you about brightwin. It shows when the actor actually didn’t really into BL.) Gawin Krist sure has more chemistry on screen. I hope Gawin could get his official couple and do offscreen couple interaction or fan service whatever it is, so more people can notice him.

@@eugenekris8562 personally I think Gawin is way more handsome and attractive than Phuwin but then again, I’m not a schoolgirl. From the first time I saw him in Not Me, he just captured my interest in not only his acting skills but how he just looks so stunning. His chemistry with First was so good. Then surprisingly, I went to see him in Dark Blue Kiss and was surprised that he was good in this too with Podd. And now he did an amazing acting job with Krist. Like this man has chemistry with every actor he’s been paired with. As for his singing, I would say his voice rivals Jeff Satur and I adore Jeff as a singer above his being an actor. That’s not diminishing Jeff’s acting ability because he can act rings around Phuwin. I would say Phuwin is a weak actor and singer. It’s funny to see that his original ship partner, Neo is killing it in Only Friends because Neo has been able to develop his acting skills as a side character and been paired with other actors in different roles. Phuwin’s not the worst because there is always people like BrightWin and Dunk who hold all 3 crowns for this. They are nothing but good looking Thai boys who are getting by on their looks. I feel a bit sad that I think Pond and Joong can become better actors but because they are shackled into ships, they cannot grow as actors in the same way Ohm Pawat, Gawin, Neo and Perth have by being paired with other actors to expand their acting skills. It’s too bad when I see potential in a meh actor being shackled with other meh and subpar actors so that develop range in acting styles and work off of out creatives. As much as I think shipwork is cute, I won’t mind if actors break up and pair with other actors to do BL. The only exception to this is MaxTul but they have been acting for a little bit before they got into there ship. Plus Max doesn’t venture into singing when it isn’t his strong suit like Tul. This is something I wish GMMTV would consider. I mean as much as I adore Pond, even I can say singing isn’t his strong suit. Neither is it Phuwin’s. Although I appreciate the effort and hopefully, with a lot of practice they will get decent one day in their live performances and not the studio edits songs GMMTV puts out with possibly auto tune. I hope Gawin and Krist doesn’t get into a permanent ship because I think both actors are only as good as they are because they don’t belong to one. Just my opinion. I’m sure hardcore shippers would disagree as ships are a big thing in BL, especially Thai BLs, which is very odd to me as someone who is from the Hollywood-washed mindset. Edit: like you I hope Gawin and Krist milk the shipwork to grow their popularity as both actors and singers. They deserve it. I really want GMMTV to put in the same effort they did behind BrightWin now that Bright has left the company to form his own company. Like I said, I wish him the best of luck in his spokesmodel career. Since his fan are so against him doing another BL, I say good riddance to BrightWin in the BL space. They are the straightest BL actors who have done nothing for the LBGTQIA+ communities all the while milking and making bank off of BL fan meets and sponsorship as a BL couple. I much rather have committed BL actors get their just desserts in this money pool. Especially the ones who are using their platforms to speak up for the communities they are profiting off of.

I think we have to find another media to continue rambling, we share a lot of common ground 😅 I too first time smitten with Gawin in Not Me and I do think Gawin is beautiful, especially his bare face (no make up). He indeed had chemistry with all his partners on screen, but I think his off screen chemistry is best with Podd. He looked relax and comfortable with him, I wonder why their ship didn't sail. Me as a hardcore fujoshi indeed want him in an official ship, to see them as a couple, on and off screen. I believe most of BL fans think the same, so it will be unfortunate for Gawin if he doesn't in one, cos it seem the company didn't look after him as much as they did his current partner. I definitely not a school girl anymore but I just know yesterday Phuwin is literally a kid 😅 I admit I like pretty boys. First thing I see in BL is the actors' visual, but it need more to keep me finish the whole series. I watched Never Let Me Go for Phuwin but couldn't push myself to finish it and not interested to watch his other series. I watched Star & Sky for Dunk, their chemistry still ok, then I watch Hidden Agenda after BMF and I keep thinking how come this foggy scenes gain so much views? Brightwin actually never caught my eyes, I watched 2gether just because I wonder why it's so popular, and I still wonder till now. I watched 1000 stars for Mix, turned out ok and he become more pretty in Moonlight Chicken. I watched Sotus for Krist and he was so strict & straight it's hard to continue watching, then I watch BMF for Gawin and I thought wow Krist is one cute lil bott 😅 I don't follow Jeff but I think Gawin voice is even better than Krist when singing live, never once out of tune. But Krist is a real entertainer, he sure know how to lit up a stage. I hope Gawin could be given more opportunity on stage too. He seems to have no scheduled activities in GMM artist agenda recently?
