TG371 16 segment LED display with Arduino
Arduino control on a 16-segment LED indicator - digits and capital letters, without a decimal point (for now).
LEDs consume a lot of current: 5V through a 150 Ohm resistor: the light is dim ... old LED technology?.
Static indication for tests, without decoders / registers / expanders. Almost all Arduino UNO outputs are used.
TG371 indicators stay at home in boxes, well stored for more than 30 years.
So far I have not found an application for them. Construction for hobbi and positive emotions :).

The sketch as written does not work. On Arduino IDE it stops on line 14, "rotary.h" No such file or directory. where do i get the library from?

I understand the requirement for a small number of components (price, installation, number of wires, availability of battery, its replacement over time), but without RTS, with the internal Arduino-generator, the deviation from the exact time in one! day is high, there is no accuracy. (Аlso add the dependence of accuracy on temperature: crystal vs ceramic resonator for example in Arduino Nano). Including time reset from future failure power and future power outages (if is on mains power). And the use of the clock becomes meaningless.

can i listen to the radio right from the normal sound card output of Raspberry pi?
Its a great circuit, i built a good kitchen radio with it! There is only 1 problem: Sometimes if my hand on a vol pot, or near the box box, the system switch over to TU mode from programmed mode. Something is too sensive or not shielded? Maybe the D8 pin must be pull up with 10k resistor?
KY-040 Rotary Encoder Module have 3 pull-up 10 kOm resistors to +5V (encoder pins and switch pin). If you don't have one, mount it. You can also add a capacitor (ex. 10nF) to GND if needed.
@@kn34pcsilistra83 Thanks your answare, the 2 rotary pin already have pullup res., but the switch pin have'nt. I did put this pin too, and now its stable! Pin 8 of arduino floating 1.5 v, without pullup res, thats why it was so sensitive! 😁

Connect the CLK pin of TM1637 to pin D9 of the Arduino and DIO pin to pin D8 of the Arduino. Connect the SDA of the RTC to pin A4 of the Arduino and SCL to pin A5 of the Arduino. Hope this helps !

Hi, thank to share your project with us. One problem for me. In tunning mode when I rotate the rotary decoder in a clock way the frequency decrease and vice versa. Any suggestion to correct this? Thank you
Hi, Paul. Change encoder pins DT <-> CLK or in sketch, row 17 change Rotary r = Rotary(2, 3); with Rotary r = Rotary(3, 2);

Доброго времени суток! Хочу поблагодарить за интересную работу. От остальных подобных приемников отличается продуманностью и гибкостью конструкции. Я даже ее повторил, в общих чертах. Отказался от энкодера, передав его функции пульту, lcd работает по шине i2c, добавил автоматическую регулировку подсветки lcd, звук сделал на tda8425 и pam8610. Уложился в 4 дня. Спасибо!
