Thanks for the reply Rupali. Yes, it's almost a cliche to say we teach young people not subjects but it's amazing how that still isn't the default perception of most people - several times I have been in a position where people ask me what I teach and sem really surprised and even annoyed when I say, 'young people'. I was introduced to a physics professor as a physics teacher once and he asked me what was my branch of physics - he didn't like it when I said 'education'🤭. However, it's making that a reality for our teachers that I want to change.
