For one, there are VERY FEW people using the RCE exploit. I haven’t come across it in months. However, I also have a 3rd party protection so if someone tries to use the RCE exploit, it just crashes my game before they gain access

I love the memories you take me back to with your videos. Is it right you play on PC, and are the steam reviews correct about it being unplayable or are you using a mod launcher or something?

@@cedric6790 yes I play on Steam PC. It has exploits, like any peer to peer game from this time, but there are 3rd party RCE protections out there that will simply crash your game instead of letting a hacker into your PC. However I run into one of these guys maybe once every couple months. It’s not as widespread as some make it seem, but definitely be careful and exercise caution! Otherwise gameplay hacks (aimbot, walls, etc) are easy to use but honestly not as common now as they were a few years ago. I think people got bored. Pretty easy to play clean vanilla games in FFA and TDM

Yep all MW2 multiplayer gameplays on my channel are from 2024. This was a modded lobby in TDM matchmaking and it just cycled through other game modes. Otherwise yeah you can’t find anything in Demolition matchmaking. Only TDM and FFA on PC. Maybe Domination on weekends

And I’m not comfortable playing a client that isn’t actively upkept because then I don’t know potential vulnerabilities like I do with Steam. Maybe if H2 is still going strong after a month or so, I will

TDM and FFA always have lobbies going and I can find a game in under a minute 95% of the time. Other game modes are basically dead though

İn turkey after 12 pm i cant find any server it takes me to the faze clan people that they are just sniping and the server have hacked to, bad luck to me(in any other time i cant play cause i am packing my stuff or doing other things for universty)@@BrianKlumbGaming

@@llllllllllll523oh dang, that must be regional then. North America and Europe seem populated. You can always try dedigamer.com too. They host 24/7 servers. They’re hosted in Australia, so the ping isn’t the greatest but it’s an option!

If it’s still going strong after a month or so without any issues, I’ll give it a shot. But keep in mind my videos on RUclips are uploaded many months in advance so any of my H2M gameplays wouldn’t be on here until 2025

@@BrianKlumbGaming Ahh. Just be careful of all the RCE stuff on the Steam servers. I’ve heard stories of the hackers bricking people’s systems.

@@jacobclarke_3 I'm aware. There's also very simple counters to the RCE vulnerabilities too. I'm all set and safe, but good callout. The base version of the game without any additional protections is a bit risky

@@jacobclarke_3I forget the exact name because it’s been so long, but there are 3rd party dll’s out there that protect you from it. Obviously be careful because any 3rd party dll’s could be potential risk if it’s not the right one, but this one works good. Should be able to find it just searching on google and RUclips. It’ll just crash your game if someone attempts the RCE. Also, just use smart security standards is always a good rule of thumb. Someone remoting into your PC shouldn’t mean that have full ability to mess everything up if you have sensitive stuffed secured & backed up

@@jacobclarke_3 yeah sadly even with RCE protections, that doesn’t stop modders from deranking, or even giving you 10th prestige. No stopping that and it sucks because it ruins the fun of the grind

I saw clips of it from what I think was dev testing. But is it out and playable? I’m worried it’ll just get a cease & desist from Activision just like they did for IW4X. But also, it looks like H2M has different movement and animations and tbh I’m not a fan of that, but always open to trying
