Took YOLO to the track to get a 1/4 mile time - 13.87 was the best of three passes. I'm happy with that for being in CO and I'm no drag racer so launching/shifting was not the best. We have a number though and that was the point! This is the run with LED's on.

Saw this at Slingfest Galveston Island - still think it was the baddest sling at the event. Although I've always been more of a go than show guy so biased here, but this one was all go and I'd love to ride in it sometime!

Had ride command out to replace my boost gauge that went out (water damage?) - while RC was out, decided to put the HomeLink garage door opener in - seems to be working good. No more digging opener out of glove box and fighting the 4 point harness! Still a lot of stockers trout wise - through back way more than we kept, but did get some for the smoker! Crawfish was where it was at - wife and son had more fun then reeling in fish! Excited to have plenty for our broil tomorrow!

Do the vent hoods leak much when in tge rain or wet road
Super late reply, a little more with vents as in some splashing, however having the mesh cover eliminates most of that!

Sorry, just saw your note. I did, and probably 30-45 minutes on install. He has it prepped and almost ready to go by the time you get it.

@@ronaldleonpieve7966 I don't like it as you have to charge the remote once a week, there are two remotes so you can swap, but annoying. Maybe a battery store can put real battery in them? Just think it's older tech. Selling mine for $75 shipped and has harness for newer sling like mine 18-19 etc.. an original 15-17.

I have tried the same thing when I first got my 450 and the grass is not your friend ever. I know its been a few years but keep trying and I think it might need some trim also.
Moral of the story: If you want to go fast with an Xo-1, don't put a homemade spoiler on the back the size of a spaceship. No wonder the front wheels had no traction at all...

I can't believe how far electric R/C cars have come. This thing is an amazing feat of consumer engineering, although it sucks that you need an iDevice. That said, if I hypothetically wanted to blow a grand on something, it would be 20 cases of fireworks. At least you don't feel bad when they explode lol. At 100MPH, the XO-1 will probably lose control of you steer a little too hard. It packs enough kinetic energy to break legs or sternum if you take a car to the chest after a jump gone bad.
