I remember booting the game up multiple times as a kid just to hear this intro over and over. Loved this game

For those who aren't impressed by these graphics, keep in that Grand Theft Auto 3 came out around the same time frame as this was released. The difference is night and day.

There was no way to describe booting up your GT3 collectors edition Playstation 2. I bought mine partially with quarters visiting my grama in newjersey.

Only the best Gran Turismo to be released. The best treat was unlocking the F1 cars and then doing the Formula GT championship race for another, and man was that challenging!

I was 20-21 when I this game came out . I remember this being the first game I owned on PS2 . I didn’t even have a memory card because they were hard to come by . But I still played .

My first racing game… I feel like this is the reason I grew up to love cars.

The graphics jump from GT2 to GT3 is something that frankly we’ll NEVER see in any franchise ever again.

For a game that is now 22 years old, GRAN TURISMO 3 A-SPEC still is amazing. I also miss those cars like Shioriko Uehara's Mazda 787B and 2 F1 cars that also appeared in F1 2020 (F688/S as McLaren MP4/4 & F090/S as McLaren MP4/5B)...

Did anyone else notice the shop sounds put in? You can hear wrenches falling on the floor in the beginning
