i lost 2 years of my life with Photon Trading

Getting away from that community was the best thing I ever did. Before, I used to think that things would only work if I followed that crazy system with 3 types of structures and 3 time frame, which I now see how absurd that is. No one needs a super complex system full of excuses for every loss you have. A system where, even if you're doing day trading, you'll catch maybe 5 to 10 trades a month, spending hours in front of a screen. Now, I operate a strategy using only 4H time frame, and it works with any pair. Another thing that used to annoy me about Photon is that it only works with EUR/USD, and even if it did, you wouldn’t be able to monitor them all because it’s full of little things to complicate as much as possible. This isn’t the only way to make a living in this market-don’t turn this dream into a nightmare. Plus, they offer zero proof of profitability, always an excuse for why they missed a trade. You’ll end up spending the whole month without catching a single trade, which is terrible for someone trying to pass a prop challenge.

You're on the right path. Learning from someone legit like tom. The uk trade scene is so cringe, full of sharks and 60IQ roadmen that couldnt even get hired for the most basic coporate job. Always look for a trackrecord when listening to people. May that be a statment or employment history

Your review pushed me to Photon's free content on youtube and i'm already profitable with his approach, although profitability came with the Price of really confronting Myself to move away from FOMO and limiting beliefs that kept destroying my Profits. every once in a while i find myself in it again but i know it isnt the strategy but a drift pyschologically. Personally i think more courses can worsen the problem if its a psychological one. Please make sure it isnt,..and if it is, now is the time TRADING IN THE ZONE by Mark Douglas will make alot of sense to you. You will extract the tools to really fix the problem. Thanks❤

Why would you say the strategy wasn’t for you, I’m currently studying photon and I get a bit worried whether it’s okay or not. 1. Was it due to the returns( maybe market conditions have been slow) 2. Personal choice, (lifestyle and other things in general)?

The prop firm model seemed too good to be true from the start. This could be the correction the market needs.

The industry definitely needs a shake-up. Hopefully, the fall of some of these prop firms will lead to better opportunities for real traders
