My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting him when he was a young man performing at the Colston Hall in Bristol I can’t remember exactly when either the late 1950s or early 1960s when he sat at our table during the interval and we had I believe gin and tonic together. We thought was a lovely young man and lo and behold he was the soloist for the following Beethoven concerto. A wonderful memory and so sad to hear that he has died especially of Covid Thank you so much for the recordings and best wishes to you Nigel Lanham-Cook

I made this video in the midst of covid when I returned to Mr. Fou's music for consolation. I am so saddened beyond words after I heard the news of Mr. Fou's passing away this afternoon. May he rest in heaven and may he now enjoy the reunioning with his beloved parents.

傅聪先生，性格如肖邦，大是大非面前还是那么含蓄，这是浪漫派的主要风格。可是这个时代若还是逆来顺受，法西斯的铁拳将会捏死每一个沉默的人。
