The Sports Racer team spent the day out in Eagles Canyon getting familiar with the track and testing the Revolution Race Cars 500sc. Eagles Canyon, located west of the DFW area is a private 2.7 mile road course with 15 total turns. Be sure to add Eagles Canyon onto your bucket list of tracks in Texas! As IF he needs a turbo in that beast ... let alone a monster that size. I actually met the CA dealer in Newport, and when I asked him about getting an engine (when I was considering one) with more than the 350 HP the LS came within 1998 ... he asked my name. After introducing myself, he replied, _"never heard of you, you'll be FINE with the 350 HP."_ At 1000 kg..? It's stout. And let's say you want 600 hp, Fine. But 1000??? Just overkill.
I don’t know what kind of camera you guys use but check to see if there’s flicker reduction in the settings, or if there’s a dimmer on your LED shop lights make sure to turn them up to full power. Another thing you can try is shooting in a different frames per second such as 30 instead of 60, to see if it helps. You don’t really need to shoot in 24 frames and may catch between flickers sometimes doing that, most people do 30 frames even for television. LED lights work by flashing 60 times per second generally, and they are either on 100% or off 100%. To dim them down to 50% they flash every other 1/60th of a second to give the illusion of being half as bright, this is why the flickers sometimes show on video! Hopefully this helps with the light flicker in the shop for you! Great video content and editing by the way! Audio sounds good too!
I use the FX3 and there was a light thats been flickering for weeks that they hadn't changed. Notice no flickering in the other videos?
It's quite nice to see both formula 1 cars still there. I remember ogling at them nearly every day back during the summer before my seinor year of high school.
Good to see the Ultima getting the coverage & attention it deserves.The RS is even nicer looking than GTR & that,s saying something! Can,t help feeling there,s a degree of snobbery at play here with people not wanting to acknowledge that a car from a unit in Hinkley can kick the ass of almost every so called supercar out there & at a fraction of the price.If ever a car lived up to the adage.."if it looks right,it is right" the Ultima is it! I shall continue to champion these cars at every opportunity & would buy one tomorrow if I thoughtii would come anywhere near to doing it justice!

damn nice. run. why did you appear to have so much more power than everyone. on the infeild i could understand the driver mod, but on the back stretch its just drag racing. i assumed Radicals were a spec series. engines at least?
The apparent power comes from both carrying speed into the corners and getting on the gas early. It was pure momentum vs the other Radicals. That's my 2Cents and I'm sticking with it.

Yes, this is multi class racing, so there is a mix of SR3 and SR8s!

I think the 'issue with the fuel pump' was they fitted a much larger one for the race.. look at his straight line speed!! I'm guessing this is a same class race so all should be equal. 🤔
It’s not the same class, he’s in a V8 SR8 racing 4 cylinder cars.

Nice laps! I think if you have a lap where your LOWEST speed in the carousel is 99 mph, the car is sticking pretty well.

In a straight line, yes, but the 1500's are actually faster in the corners due to their much lighter weight. A well-driven 1500 class car can get overall race wins (and, in fact, have done so), especially on the more twisty tracks. Miller earned it fair and square.
@@hippyjason look at lap times for well driven SR3's vs. SR8's at COTA, it's not even close. 2:07's for the V8 cars vs. low 2:20's for the 1500cc 4 cyls.
@@Jkan2001 Yeah, you are only proving my point that it is highly track dependant. COTA is big track that has a lot of longish straightaways between it's turns, only one with heavy braking; it's way more of a power track than you would think it would be at first glance. So advantage V8's at COTA.
