Using head shift in Mach 4 to set laser offset

I am adding a laser to my cnc and I want to be able to cut with the router then engrave with the laser. To do the headshift is needed and here is the first test.
K40 motorized bed steel plate test!

This is a motorized bed for a k40 laser, but it could scale up. This was a test of the steel plate that was cut and drilled. I'll post the how to once I get it all working correctly. Edit. Final revision files here www.thingiverse.com/thing:3160570

How to make one of those?
Give me your entire stock
Hello. What is this Heatbreak from?
Thank you for this...I am brand new to 3D printing, so much so that my first ever printer (Mingda Magician x) is still en-route and has yet to be delivered. Your demonstration and explanation is clear, and I appreciate the extra explanations regarding 'why' certain steps were done in the way you suggest. Thank you!! 👍
where did you get the sketch (firmware ) as im looking for this firmware
Nice video! Thank you! There seems to be a piece of PTFE tube in the heatbreak. In that case it is not all metal.
Thanks for sharing !! Great installation tips !
How did you do the blade and make it light up with the 3d printed hilt?
Good afternoon, how can I compensate the distance of the laser with that of the spindle?
Amazing! What control software are you using? Lightburn? I'm trying to add a diode module onto my AVID CNC, but I'm having trouble finding info on how to control it using Mach4.
How did you make it have 0 delay? What hardware or settings are you using?
My cat would definitely look behind the screen....
thanks for you'r video ;-) can you explain me how to configure mach4 for lasering ? thanks
Why did the saber have a spazem
Cool :)
Cool, you are number 1
Hey can you make A video how Did u install That thingy please
Great job!
No sweat. That’ll buff right out
shes nearly fixed!
"My Assistant" HAHA!!
you know it!
Freakin Lazers man!
What kind of motors are you using in this CNC?
this is a full spectrum laser: fslaser.com/Product/Hobby i believe it uses nema17 steppers.
Yes it use nema17 stepper motor
release the code please
please post more information and code.
+Piotr Bagniewski Hi, i will get this done really soon :)
So many things wrong here. Everyone is afraid of electronics and water.. Fear is what's stopping this from being truly amazing. You can add electronics to water in a very safe manner. One example: You have the option of adding a cell battery with a micro controller and sensor (in a plastic housing) that hangs over the bathtub. One MCU (microcontroller) example is the Atemga 328P (Arduino MCU) which consumes somewhere around 0.2mA (milliamps) or 0.0002 amperes at 1.8V, which is TINY. It's about 200 times less than what's in each of those triple A batteries (200mAh at 1.2V). In other words; 600 times less energy than what's in the duck. Oh, and it only costs about $2 for the MCU. You could put a gold fish in the water and have it hit the raw power coming directly from the cell battery and it would probably giggle. It's not enough to do ANYTHING. The added MCU and water sensor could do a couple of things: Save water: A timer that shuts the water off if it doesn't reach the desired level within a specific amount of time. This can be because of a leak in the drain, or something went wrong or otherwise. Save water / perfect water level: Only fill the tub to a desired water level. Add another $3 to add wifi to the Atmega with the Esp8266 serial module. Of course, you'll need to up the battery consumption to that of a triple A battery (around 200mA) when in use, otherwise uses microamps (less than milliamps) in standby mode.
exactly what I have been looking for to avoid $400 a window. and looks great with the moulding
Couldn't find anything on your facebook about this. Which OD motor did you use? Which ikea blind? (TUPPLUR?) Also, what'd you use for the gutters/sides? I'm planning my own version (albeit wired), looks great.
hi sorry for the delay, i have added an instructable here with all the details. www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Install-Rollertrol-Blinds-With-Ikea-Shades-/
a pull-chain type plug attached to that duck would make a great float.
Looks great! We shared your RUclips video on our Facebook page! (We love your name too!) -RollerTrol facebook.com/pages/Rollertrol-Automation-Systems/222053564516383?ref_type=bookmark
Thanks, these blinds are awesome. i now have them under home automation control so i don't even use the remote much anymore!
