@richatlarge462 I can understand music and I have ears. He's certainly not connecting with his tune. Needs to retrain his voice. He had more passion in 84 anyway.
@markives9257 Well he's 40 years older now. What I meant is that his 1984 fan base still can "hear" the original vocal, and we cut him slack. It's more about delivering us back to 1984 than impressing us with vocal prowess. But if this is your first encounter with the song, I understand why you might find it slow and dull.

Saw him live in 2019 , same band , and I was up to the podium. Later I was sent from his office in Hollywood a personal signed poster and T-shirt , both of the In the key of Joy performance. The most weird thing was , that I bought a Japanese version vinyl of a band called Bossa Rio a few months later and at putting it in Discogs only found out that the record had Gracinha as singer . So I bought a record dating 1969 , only to realise that I had been taking pictures of her 50 years later.
Yes it was a bonus to see a member of Bossa Rio live on stage.
