Why Switzerland Stands Out: Amazing Facts and Trivia
During a visit to Halifax we went to a church that was miles away from the Harbour. There is a steel beam stuck through the wall still there to this day.
Maybe one of the most useless videos I’ve ever seen. It has zero points and just repeats the same stuff over and over again
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Sumerian epics are intricate, and sometimes the repetition can feel like a lot. The aim here was to emphasize key themes and make these ancient stories accessible. Appreciate the feedback, though-it helps in creating better content!
Let me see, during his first term Trump did none of his 100 day promises, taxes for the working class went up $50 billion while taxes paid by the ultra rich and large corporations went down $250 billion. Trump's records as President, no major pieces of legislation passed, most days playing golf, least amount of time in the office and the 3rd greatest percentage increase in the national deficit but highest if you delete times when the US was involved in a military conflict. Also since the first year of any Presidents term is affected by the actions taken by the previous administration you can assign the majority of job growth to the previous administration (for a fact most of the manufacturing jobs created were based on projects announced or undertaken prior to Trump even announcing he was interested in running) and, in keeping with all of the complaints I heard regarding inflation under Biden the greatest increase was during his first year which directly reflected on the actions undertaken by Trump.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! This video was simply meant to congratulate the event and acknowledge the outcome. It's always interesting to see where things might lead from here!
@@Re13neehsShuffle Yes, but so many people seem to see only what Trump states, not what he did, and the one thing he is really good at is taking credit for work done by others and putting the blame for the things he does on others.
You will not be seeing it. Is first move will be to terminated internet.
We'll see buddy

In the world was a better place before they came along
Interesting perspective! The Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU) definitely stirred things up with their tactics, but they also played a huge role in advancing women’s rights. History shows that change often brings controversy, but it’s fascinating to see the impact they had on society.
It would have been better to show more photos of Hampi, instead of the cheesy amateur paintings and the film footage of Ankor Wat.
Totally agree! Hampi’s architectural beauty and unique landscapes are best shown through real photos and footage. There's so much grandeur and detail in its ruins and monuments that can’t be captured by anything else. It would’ve been great to see more of those authentic visuals instead!
Won't have to imagine for long it's in the process of being rebuilt
Absolutely! It’s fascinating to see how the concept of the Silk Road is coming to life again in modern times. The New Silk Road projects are really showing how interconnected we still are, just like in ancient times - but now with high-speed trains and massive shipping networks. History coming full circle!
Who is the narrator. He reminds me of David Attenborough
That's him
I did not know!
Right? The Silk Road's history is full of surprises! It wasn’t just a trade route for silk - it connected so many different cultures, ideas, and even inventions across continents. It’s amazing how much of our world today was influenced by it!
Very nice! Thank you very much indeed
You're very welcome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Hampi truly is an incredible place, with its ancient ruins, beautiful temples, and stunning landscapes. If you ever get the chance to visit or explore it more, it's definitely worth it. Thanks again for the kind words! 😊
The first time I visited it, I was lost over it’s beauty and grandeur 🎉❤
I completely understand that feeling! Hampi has this enchanting quality that can really sweep you off your feet with its historical richness and breathtaking scenery. There's something magical about wandering through the ancient ruins and feeling connected to such a vibrant past.
Terrible AI
It sounds like the AI in the video might not have done the Nazca Lines justice! Those ancient geoglyphs in Peru are so fascinating, with their immense size and mysterious origins. Were there specific details or aspects that we missed, or was it more about the way the information was presented?
The British are responsible for over 40% of the world's discoveries and inventions.
The British certainly showcased a huge number of technological and scientific advancements at the Great Exhibition of 1851. The event brought together innovations from all over the world, but British inventions and discoveries, like the steam engine and advancements in textiles, were definitely at the forefront. That said, the global impact of discoveries comes from many different cultures and civilizations over centuries. The British Empire's influence and resources in the 19th century helped accelerate the spread and visibility of certain inventions, but societies worldwide have contributed to technological and scientific progress. The exhibition itself was a testament to how collaboration and competition can drive innovation across borders!
Do your research on the world's fair and look at all the phenomenal fantastic enormous buildings that were there that they tore down. After trying to claim that they built thousands of buildings And thousands of statues in just a couple of years.
The 1904 St. Louis World's Fair was truly a marvel, showcasing a vast array of stunning buildings and statues that feel almost unbelievable by today’s standards! Many of these structures were built quickly using materials like plaster and wood, which allowed for the creation of entire "fantasy cities" in just a couple of years. Though designed to be temporary, they were crafted with incredible detail and grandeur to captivate visitors. With massive funding, a large workforce, and innovative construction techniques, they managed to bring this breathtaking vision to life, even if only for a short time. The legacy of these fairs still inspires wonder!
"Stench"
Right? You can almost imagine the smell! The Great Stink of 1858 must've been unbearable-it's incredible to think that a single hot summer brought such drastic changes to London's sanitation.
Its crazy just how much ash fell over those few days.
Absolutely! The sheer volume of ash that erupted from Vesuvius is mind-blowing. It completely buried cities like Pompeii and Herculaneum, preserving them in time. It’s fascinating and a little haunting to think about how quickly life was disrupted. The details in the video really highlight the power of nature!
🤔😏
Humanity's first civilization? Lmao how do you know? Its not rven the oldest ruins in the world lmao im hitting the "do not recommend channel" on this one
I get where you’re coming from! Gobekli Tepe is often called one of the oldest known sites, but it's definitely a topic of debate. While it’s not the only ancient site, its significance in understanding early human society is huge. There’s still so much we’re learning about our past!
Portasar in Armenian language (Պորտասար) (in turkish: Göbekli Tepe, Portablur, Tsmpor Hill), a Neolithic religious complex and archaeological monument in the Armenian Highlands
I appreciate your contribution! It's always great to see more people taking an interest in our rich cultural heritage and history.
Should be a 2 track freight railway and 6 lane superhighway and 2 track high speed rail.
That would certainly be an impressive transformation! Imagine the Silk Road reimagined with modern infrastructure-a two-track freight railway, a six-lane superhighway, and high-speed rail! It would create an unparalleled connection across continents, just like the ancient Silk Road did, but at an entirely new scale of speed and efficiency. Fascinating to think about how much the flow of goods, people, and ideas would change!
Lier , since the beginning, title totally lie
Just a note: I don't believe a word you say since you have Maya architecture on an video talking about Aztecs. If you don't know the difference between those two societies, then you are not trustworthy.
Thank you for pointing that out. You're absolutely right-there is a significant difference between Maya and Aztec societies, including their architecture, cultural practices, and historical contexts. Using Maya architecture in a video about the Aztecs was an oversight, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We will ensure that future content is more accurate and respectful of these distinct cultures. Your feedback helps us improve, and we apologize for the mistake.

When I think of Mexico, I think of drug cartels and tacos. That's it.
There's so much more to Mexico than just those two things! It's a country full of vibrant traditions, stunning landscapes, world-class art, history, and incredible diversity. From ancient civilizations like the Maya and Aztec to its contributions to music, literature, and cuisine (beyond tacos, of course!), there's a lot to appreciate. I encourage you to explore more about Mexico's culture and beauty!
@@Re13neehsShuffle No, there really isn't. Cartels and tacos.

If u whistle the northern lights will come to you.
That’s a beautiful thought! In some cultures, there’s a belief that whistling at the Northern Lights can call them closer. Though it’s a lovely legend, scientists say the aurora is caused by solar particles interacting with Earth’s atmosphere. Still, it’s nice to imagine a little magic in the sky!
They were way more advanced than us.
That is actually True.
this looks nice👍
What an embarrassing vanity project that church was. The Catholic Church was reluctant to accept it.
While the basilica in Yamoussoukro may be controversial for some, it's also a reflection of the complexity of human ambition, faith, and legacy. It’s true that its construction sparked debates, but it has also become an architectural wonder and symbol for many. The story of the Ivory Coast goes far beyond this project, from its rich history and culture to its role in Africa’s economic development. It’s worth seeing the country through a broader lens!
Some other facts: Switzerland is full of weapons, but the population knows how to use them. Switzerland is a true democracy. The population decides truly for everything
Switzerland does have a high rate of gun ownership, largely due to its tradition of a well-regulated militia, and there are strict regulations in place. Citizens are well-trained in firearm use and safety, which contributes to the low rate of gun violence. As for democracy, Switzerland operates a unique system of direct democracy where citizens have the power to vote on many national and local issues through referendums. While it's highly democratic, there are still elected representatives who play significant roles in governance, balancing direct and representative democracy.
