I was stationed at Scott AFB from 1999-2002 and I remember them installing the rails outside the base. Before, you had to go to SWIC/BAC to catch the Link. That was my dorm at the beginning of the video. It’s amazing to see what’s become of this after so many years.

I did the train to Disneyland 2x And I did Legoland.

My husband and I will be riding the Lincoln Service/Missouri River Runner round-trip next week. It looked like passengers had to walk down a flight of stairs from the KC station to the track. How was the Cafe Car food? And how close to St. Louis was your destination in Washington, MO? From the conductor's announcement, it sounded like was one of the last stops before St. Louis.

It's a shame about the traffic jams, most cities would block off an area like that to automobile traffic.

Didn't even know that Bart Trains terminate at West Oakland..

This line is almost a revival of the ILLINOIS TERMINAL RAILROAD that ran between Southern Illinois and St Louis Missouri.

53:44 Now this is something i've never quite understood. Whenever you have a Blue Line Train traveling West, they always announce "Blue Line, To Portland City Center, and Hillsboro", and then at the last station in Downtown Portland, the announcement changes to simply "Blue Line, To Hillsboro", but this doesn't happen at all with Eastbound trains, as even before the train even sniffs Downtown Portland, the announcement is "Blue Line, To Gresham". The only reason i bring this up is because the Red Line includes City Center in it's announcements both ways With announcements before and in Downtown being "Red Line, To City Center, and :::insert either Portland Airport for EB trains, or Beaverton Transit Center for WB trains:::", so why don't Eastbound Blue Line trains mention City Center on the way to Gresham.
