You didn't flat iron your hair, you probably would have been able to see split ends

Ur hair is beautiful❤ If I may, Relaxer shouldn't be intentionally massaged into the scalp. It should just be applied to the new growth (as carefully as u can). Adding scalp protector or vaseline will only do so much to protect ur scalp form the chemical. The skin will absorb it like lotion.
