Percentage Giving = Priority Giving
Giving a percentage of our income helps us prioritize God and trust Him with our resources.
Referenced Scripture: "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in!" - Malachi 3:10 (NLT)
Reflection Questions:
1. What percentage of your income are you currently giving?
2. How might increasing your giving percentage impact your trust in God?
Action Step: Determine a percentage of your income to give regularly. Start with a small percentage and gradually increase it as you feel comfortable, trusting ...

Our giving should be guided by prayer, not pressure. Referenced Scripture: "You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. Giving should be a priority in our lives, and it should grow as we prosper. Referenced Scripture: "On the first day of each week, you should each put aside a portion of the money you have earned. Don’t wait until I get there and then try to collect it all at once." - 1 Corinthians 16:2 (NLT) Reflection Questions: 1. How can you make giving a regular part of your life? 2. Storing up treasures in heaven means investing in things that have eternal value, such as love, kindness, and faith. Referenced Scripture: "Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal." - Matthew 6:19-20 (NLT) R...

Acknowledging Jesus as God's Dearly Loved Son
The mystery is the end of the Old Covenant and everything associated with it and the beginning of the New that bears faithful allegiance in character and practice to Christ and His Way of life and lifestyle (ref. 1 Jn 2:6). Hard to find any actual New Covenant practitioners, so its still something of a mystery.
Thanks John. Praying for all of you and the upcoming trip to Africa. God will surely bless all involved!

This is great. If you want more ppl outside the church to see it, u might want to not keep the camera at a down angle and reduce back lighting. Also skip the good morning and jump right in. I know this is minor stuff but the attention-span for short form content is, well, extremely short. Ppl expect videos to be shot perfectly with a nice background as well as to get their attention in the first 1-2 seconds. Again, these are not important in the sense that the message is way more important. However, it's just how these platforms work. As someone who is gen z this is just some pointers, because it'd be cool to see the reach increase. Like I said content is great. Keep posting.
Thanks for the feedback! There are always things to work on and improve upon!
I also notice that Paul points out that the method of showing approval tended to be by means of sharing food, hospitality, and providing other means of support. These gifts demonstrated personal appreciation and were offered directly to the ones who deserved them.
"More than words"
Aaron's work and ministry at Summit have been exemplary, and both Aaron and Tricia have been an inspiration to us all. We are going to miss their enthusiasm and the beautiful fellowship that they have shared with us from day one. Our confidence in their ability to serve the Indian Christian Mission in Show Low is so high that, while we will miss them, we are excited for them and for all those who will be working with them in the service of our Lord and King.
Thanks Dave!
This was an excellent video and conversation gentlemen, thank you. Your ability to cram some of the most timeless, pertinent and most controversial issues into a short discussion, while remaining informative and cordial, is admirable. Being about his Father's business, Jesus was the greatest advocate for "the least of these" and the ultimate example of conscientious objection. The diaspora of people(s) has been the way of God's will throughout the scriptures, but we must not be blind to the use of this concept by the enemy. Even within our own country, statistically the marginalized are not known by their ethnicity, but rather their vulnerability which has ALWAYS been evident in the women and children of every nation from our earliest records (i.e. the Genesis 6 account). Being alive here and now, having studied from Genesis and witnessing the way of the world as it is, my question is this: Is it all we can do to reach out and offer support to the marginalized in our own communities? The problem seems so immense and heavy. I am aware of how Westway is involved in this manner in our little panhandle and abroad. I am wanting to do more in this regard as I am able and so I suppose I shall just continue attending and learning from you all with this intention prevalent in my heart and mind.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Your question, "Is it all we can do to reach out and offer support to the marginalized in our own communities?" is on that is coming up more and more consistently. One of the ways this is most prevalent at WestWay is through our Embrace Grace Ministry. We'd love yo talk more with you in person ab out this! You can reach out to us at office@westwaychurch.com. I have been diggin' deep into the word for a few years now and found this video to be a great help as you broke down this short, but very meaningful book. 💚

Thanks, Seth. Appreciate that...hope you and your family are well!
I have listened to this a couple of times this morning. I believe I will really hear more each time I listen. Tysm
We're glad you're enjoying it!
Thought provoking. Ty pastors.
You're welcome!
I loved this. John, I was wanting you to read the verses. I was compelled to read them for myself. I am so thankful for the message.
Thanks, Kerri!
I pray that you all have the patience and diligence to continue sharing the word of God because the possibility of reaching someone with just one sermon or scripture is real as I have seen it and experienced it myself. I can faithfully declare that I am here because of this amazing possibility and it has compelled me to join in this Church body. Great share gentlemen and thank you!
Thanks for the comment!
Jon Simpson introduced this as a radio program "Ask the Pastor." Do the recordings for "Ask the Pastor" also get posted on-line, or are these three only posted due to WestWay and John Mulholland's participation?
Hi Robert. These are posted to each of the individual churches Facebook pages. We also post them on WestWay's RUclips channel.
Great video, John. You really have captured the essence of WestWay Christian Church!
Although Jesus did miracles expressing that he is Emmanuel....God with us the disciples still didn't get it because they were seeing Christ as a mere man and not as God. When the storms comes in our life Christ/God doesn't want us to fear no matter how things get. Jesus/God is Lord of the storms and our position must always be faith. Faith is heavenly currency and how God/Christ communicates. We walk by faith and not by sight.
Hello, I just want you to reply :( Do you support lgbtq+ Beacuse i’m transgender and i was born a woman, I think you guys deleted my comment..
We believe that all people have been made in God's image- you have value, dignity, and worth because you are an image bearer. And, we believe all humans have willingly and knowingly rejected God and His plan for their lives by their sinful choices and decisions and have set themselves against Him. We believe both of the above things are true about all of humanity; we "support" people by pointing them to these realities in the hopes they will 1) reject their sinful choices and 2) stop denying the reality of who God created them to be. God has called each and every one of us to seek to serve Him in loving obedience to his design and plan.
@@WestWayChristianChurch So is that a yess.?
Praying Bible prayers - YES!
A thought- when we are in fellowship in a meal together shouldn’t our focus always be on Jesus and our shared Kingdom life? Intentionally as part of our fellowship, always?
This is a really great question...which we will talk about on our next Q&A.
Thankful for our incredible creative arts team! Glory to God!
Yes indeed!
Thanks for the great message!
You are so welcome
Very nice Keep it up!
