The Sencilla Podcast Episode 1 - Our Story
I have one of these E33, but an '84. Ours has been on the hard for almost 5 years while I work and refit the boat part time, as I plan on retiring within 6 months and plan on going down the FL ICW, to the Caribbean, my home land. . I noticed a few things I have on the boat (factory installed) not on your boat. I plan on removing the nav station paper charrt holders to add more storage space. If you guys don't mind, and I don't need any non-relevant info, but I'd like to ask some questions and viewed specs here, about your boat. This is the only other E33 I've seen in YTB. Or I can become a patron and communicate that way. Thanks. Fair winds.
I'm thinking of buying a yacht and spotted some nice models in Belize. Originally planned to start in Grenada though. What do you think about buying in Belize and heading up North around to Bahamas?
Rename the video "look at my pretty face and a little bit of the boat!"
...if you want to avoid that you have to stick with solo sailors.
no new videos? did you sell the boat?
Good Video!
And ms lady is very pretty and sexy niice 😊😊😊😊
Ya'll gotta be very careful wit Guatemala they are dangerous I heard
Last post 2 years ago. Dead website. What happened to this pair? Gave up on sailing?
Hi guys, subscriber here! Can you tell me what kind of dodger you have? The poles/frame are different than the sailrite one. Thanks! Love the video!!
I can't hear a word just sounds like mumbling
Great high level overview of how to use the sails!
You guys appear to be making it work. I love it! I have a similar sized boat. Interesting to see how you've got it all setup.
Cash in hand upon arrival to anyone that can sail me from Mexico to Canada undetected
Ok, now I'm binge watching❤ it.
Wonderful to watch. Remember what Captain Ron said, engines love their oil like a sailor loves their rum 😂. Keep having fun!
I have a Farrier F9a trimaran with rear double *cough* berth, with tri's that means it's a child's berth and claustrophobic, up front the V berth I enlarged by knocking out the partition to the head and put flip up boards on the head which being a solo male doesn't get used but it all works, I sleep in the same area you guys do, the design is much the same just not as much beam as mine folds in so it can be trailered which I don't do I just like the performance, it'll do 20 knots quite easily, 25 in the right conditions (I've seen 30 knots by accident, not recommended as they're just plain not built for it) I'm actually looking for a live aboard, probably an older +40' mono as the usual trimaran design such as mine at 31' is about the same inside as a 25' monohull and even for one person is way too small specially if the weather turns bad for a few weeks: being old and retired I own everything so I can rent my house out just without using it as collateral no one will lend me any money which sux as my credit rating is blue chip... I wish I could've done this when younger but being a truck driver there was nothing you could do to to earn a living (I had debts back then and renting my house out would've paid the mortgage if that) nowadays there's so much: anyway, good luck and enjoy, I've seen most of the full time successful RUclips sailors (some are big $ cruisers other's are doing it on next to nothing and all are great) you guys look like you're kicking it off just right.
Seems bigger than a 33.
Thanks for great boat tour. Amazing boat. What country she is made?
Just found you channel. What happed to you guys?? Where are you now?
Great video
Have you sailed to Tampico or anyplace near there?
I didn't know they let you step ashore in another Mexican town after you've checked out of Mexico.
Awesome boat, are you guys able to sail it single handed?
Im interested in how to get into cuba as an american
Great sound quality
Although you are pulling slightly lighter chain, you still have to move your boat to get right above the anchor and then you get to pull it out of the sand/rock it's in. I hate it, but it's what we have to do.
Do you still have to wear placebo face diapers in Mexico?
Hi.....we are just starting to follow you! We are in Newfoundland, Canada and have the exact same boat! Just wondering what size packing did you use on your stuffing box? Cheers!
Interesting!
Velize es de guatemala yezokkk punto
I hope to see more very soon!
Could you describe in detail with video or list what's in your med bag please? Thanks!
Way to go y'all! Stay safe + have fun 💚💚💚
Well balanced sails, haha! That's the secret 😉 lovely video guys! Full of 🌞 wind and water 💦well done for getting though such a narrow entrance! 🤣 greetings from cold UK!
Audio is more important than Video. People will watch bad video if the audio is good , People will not watch great video if the audio is bad
Really enjoyed the sail as I sit here in Colorado waiting for snow this evening! Great video guys! Keep sharing the fun.
Tulum is a great place to see. When I was in Isla Mujeres we caught the ferry there. What a great trip.
great job. I love the trip to Tulum
Great video Tanner, lots of good information. The storm part was scary. You two did good. :) Happy Sailing
Thanks for the information on the gulf stream. There was a lot of information you told us about that I didn't know. It sounds like it was a long and scary trip, glad you guys made it. Havana sounds amazing. So much information about the people and their situation. Happy Sailing.
Good info about what to consider about buying a boat. In my case I found my E33 on Boat Trader. It was on the hard in August '20 in the boat yard my mentor and sailing club sites their boat. The price was in my budget and the survey wasn't a total disaster. It was the only boat I looked at. Everything about the boat screamed "Denise, this boat has your name on it. " so I bought it. I'm very happy with it.
A movie on the bow is as good as it gets!
The underwater shots are so pretty. I love the fish and coral. You two are funny. Thanks for the tour of your daily life. Happy sailing.
Great video. I love the endeavor easy access to the engine. I would have loved seeing your setup. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed that. Those friends you gathered along the way never get any better!
The music is awesome. Gets me excited to see what you two are up against. Cuba is very surprising, no people and no boats. Who would think there would be no motor oil in Cuba. Crazy. I liked your friends you picked up on the way. Funny. These videos are awesome to me because we see what you guys are seeing. Love It. Happy Sailing!
I love the music you chose for this video.
Great Video for solid current information. Wow! Havana, Cuba is amazing. So surprised, I thought there would be hundreds of people around. Also surprised you couldn't find Americana money, food, boat parts, water and oil. I am glad you guys made it through. Surprises!!! God Bless the Cuban people, may someone help them.
Nice video. Congratulations from Spain.
Muchas gracias :):)
Crossing over the gulf stream, wow what a challenge. incredible video. Loved it.
Thank you! It was a challenge for sure! It’s been a rewarding journey so far though!!
