This version is excellent for the David Gilmore solo band but if you want the full blooded, awe inspiring, goosebump inducing, mind blowing, life changing version, then you have to watch the Pink Floyd-Pulse concert version, and I do mean watch it as the Floyd invented the light show and spent millions of pounds to make sure that it and the other effects were matched and synchronised with the music in order to give you the perfect immersing experience, and you must listen to it with headphones on as the Floyd invented surround sound for the same reason ( they basically invented what people would call a rock concert nowadays, sonically and visually light years ahead of their time, I'm talking about back in the 60s and 70's) .Great reaction to this one anyway.

Songs from 1970-'05 sound way more lyrical, in tune, and generally polished, pun intended. From 2005 onward, they get a lot more rock-heavy, pretty much like most music these days. Great content.

No question, Pavarotti nailed it, but Nessun Dorma is such a powerful piece of music, I don't think it shows his total range as musician and actor. I think His La Dona e mobile demonstrates his talent more.

Thx for posting - IMO this is one of the greatest LIVE musical performances you will ever see. The amount of musical talent on that stage is staggering. A truly iconic song that they released when they were kids in 1967 - nearly 40 years later they pop up and drop this version. Gary was in his 60's here and never sounded better. Just amazing!! If/when you have time - check out Lucy Thomas's version/cover of this song. A different sound of the same song - but still beautiful.
