Hi, can I, I also recently purchased the Hunter 750 but I can't understand which model is v1 or v2 where written? I thank you in advance
@@axeld74 ok when using the boat if you push forward on the remote for about 10 seconds and then let go and the boat keeps going then it’s a v2 if it stops when you let go then it’s v1 plus if you have only just got the the boat from new then it should be a v2 as they don’t make the v1 anymore
@ thank you very much I had guessed this so mine is a v2 too bad that once opened it has a defect on a rear light it doesn't turn on I hope for a change that's why I thought it was a v1 model because I knew they had some problems . Thank’s 🙏
Trakker can suck my go nads
Something wrong with your signal on your nd mate, mine goes as far as the eye can see and never loses connection.
Beide rommel bovenste klas
Both garbage, much better boats for less money.
Never had a prob with my nd2 v3..brill boat
I have owned both boats for 2 years - the quality of the boats isn’t even close. The hunter is a terrible boat - batteries exploding, water ingress etc. I am glad to see the back of it. The ND2 - fantastic boat and worth every penny. The only issue I have had is with a sticking hopper which was easily resolved with the turning of a screw.
Boatman actor plus with fish finder by far a better boat for £850.00
@@paulwhitworth4934 Mate had a boatman that every time he put it in the water it wouldn’t work , but again like I said they are all the same , you will get good ones and have no problems and you will also get lemons that have problems . I have owned so many in my time and to me it all depends on the lakes you fish , I have found that 9 times out of 10 you don’t need all the bells and whistles on them , it’s just more to maybe go wrong.
I have this in the regular green. Love it. Its plenty big enough for me and my needs, and fits in all the swims i've ever fished. Doesn't weigh a ton so does all I could ask really, the mk2 versions nice, and when I get my next bivvy it'll likely be another of these! They are that good IMO. Like he says in the video you can spend a lot more money and get something that does exactly the same thing. This reminds me of my old Nash Viper I had years ago, only bigger n better. I'm sure the current Titans are great but I can't justify the price when this Sonik does the same job.
Hi mate, I have the fox frontier X and I love it, only thing is I removed my door panel once to fit the clear door panel and I can't for the life of me work out how the bloody thing goes on lol.
@@davefreercarpangler if I remember rite place the door on the floor in front of it’s opening make sure that there is two zips on the bottom of both sides and then start zipping it on from right to left .
@@carpfishingthings-ny9go thanks mate I'll give it another go when on the bank next, at the moment I have no door panel fitted 😂😂
Did it come with the infill front?
The social dose not come with a front infill
What do you prefer the The RS150 or the Frontier XD, As i know you have both. Thanks
@@daver5999 I would have to say the frontier as I’ve had the Trakker for day it came out and I’ve never bothered to use it on the bank 😩
@@carpfishingthings-ny9go Thanks for the reply. would you say the quality was the same on both
@@daver5999 yes to be fair both bivvys are good and should last as long as you don’t force anything together and dry them out if they get wet , all the normal things really.
Got a great used deal on one of these with inner dome and vapour peak. Managed to snag the mozzy infill for €35. Can’t wait to try it out this week. Thank you for the great review.
If i had to pick between these two as a full system I’d probably get the Trakker, though XD vs the 150 would be a more fair comparison imo. But the newest RS is like 1K. Add a skullcap and you’re looking at almost 1200. Atm XD with vapour peak is below 800. Thats one pretty huge price difference. In the end i think someone would be one happy camper (giggle) with either one of these great bivvies.
Yeah you do same as me mate I dont clip main ground in, when i pack away put ground sheet in it's little bag and through it in nice that there oversized bags
Is the material the same armoured nylon as the t1 bivvy range?
Name sleep ❤
Can you use the vapour peak with the overwrap?
@@Sonikks never tried that as it would have no real point to it , but if I was to take a guess I’d say no
@carpfishingthings-ny9go it'll be nice and toasty during the winter with the multiple layers.
@@Sonikks the overwrap would be touching the vapour so wouldn’t make a pocket of air so don’t know if it would work
@carpfishingthings-ny9go okay mate thanks. Have a great Christmas
@@Sonikks thanks, and you
Do you need to buy the front panels separate?
Yes
I’ve got the xl, plenty of room in that, much higher, a foot wider and deeper, quality is superb, can’t fault it other than having to buy all the extras but then if it came with them it would be twice the price and I don’t really use a door as I’m single nights generally
Has the camo pro got the same armoured nylon material as the titan t1 bivvy?Good vid btw 👌
I used mine 1st time at week end , had to take of the ground sheet when taking it down couldn’t pack it down with it attached did you have same problem mate ?
@@DaveShortland-h6x yes mate you do have to take out the ground sheet , it’s only the front panel that you can leave on but make shore the door is unzipped when you pack down.
@ yes was a ball ale mate to be fair but took off the groundsheet and left inner in but will just lay ground sheet down and put bivvy on top of if , great bivvy must admit 👌
Great review. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼
really like your comparison videos, i find them very helpful. thank you. question for you on the solar, what bedchair / sleep systems have you used with it and did they touch the sides?
@@UKDevice I have used lots of different standard size bedchairs but none of them touched the sides
Great information, thanks for sharing. A couple of observations: 1: Luggage design has gone backwards over the last 30 years. 2: Luggage weights when empty prove point number 1. 3: The more pockets, the more useless a rucksack is. 😀👍
Nice video. I have the Ridgemonkey and it can hold a lot especially when using their Ruggage pouches. My biggest 2 issues with the Ridgemonkey are; the lack of top double handles (like the Korda one has) and that the "arm holes" on the rucksack/rucksack straps seem really short making it a bit of a faff getting it on and off your back. Other than that, Ridgemonkey for me is great - main compartment can hold Korda tackle box, Ruggage 165 standard, Ruggage 165 compact, Ruggage 80 compact, Korda Compac Organiser with a bit of room to spare.
🎉🎉🎉
🎉🎉🎉
I would never go back to the frontier mine fell to bits within weeks, especially the poles falling out of the boss, back to a pioneer for me
200€😂😂big 💩💩
Looks great mate good review
Be careful: "In summary, while occasional and limited use of a UV torch may not cause harm, it’s best to avoid unnecessary exposure, particularly at night. Extended or frequent use can pose risks to both skin and eyes, and you should handle any UV light source with caution"
Did you say got to pack down frontier with door open mate ? Would it make a difference if the door was zipped up when packed down ? ?
Would it make a difference if pack it down with the door zipped up mate ? Have you done it both unzipped and zipped and noticed a difference ?
@DaveShortland-h6x I wouldn’t pack it down with the door zipped up mate just to be safe, I always unzip mine but I do leave it on when packed away.
@ is this because of the door is zipped up there’s to much tension mate ? Asking because I just got one but not used it yet , I had the x and always packed down with with the door zipped up and had no problems but the inner may cause probs ?
@ yes I think so mate
Good review mate , do you find it easy to pack down the frontier with the inner dome in or take it out and is it easy to get into the bag mate ?
Ps .. I’m going to get the camo vapour for the frontier x+ I reckon will look ace
Good reveiw mate I’m getting this bivvy soon and getting the camo vapour peak I reckon it will look smart with the kharki bivvy Do you have any trouble taking it down and pack away with the capsule inside or is the bag plenty of room to pack away ?
@@DaveShortland-h6x no problem mate I’ve just come back form a trip , packed it away with dome still in it plus polls vapour peak and doors all in the bag 👍
@ brill thank you
But the Fox frontier is made of plastic and the boss system is dog shit sold mine as its cheap tac
The front of the tart is on rhe left where the nash sign is. So it's on wrong to start with
Love my korda luggage, I have the meduim, then the xl and now on to a single rucksack to reduce weight and the stuff I take.
Lovely pond mate! Ever fancy doing a vid showing it off and talking through how it was built?
“I Fink”? Oh in England we say Think. Thuckwit!
It doesn't even look like you have set the dam thing up right. Way to much slack in the Material
Just a normal camping tarp that has been camo and nash logo up..s9 they can treble the price tag..and £130 when you can get the same for £30
I wasted too much time when I set the storm poles to close the door too much headache for trakker Rs 150
I've got this and don't rate it at all , used it once , gonna sell it
I’m a hide owner , I’m looking at solar compact . Thanks you’ve helped me choose my next Bivvy 👍🏻
Just bought the small one. As a bed for my dog 💪🏻😊. Maybe buy the xl later if I like it.
Great vid mate, I’m thinking of getting one to use additionally as an overwrap second skin, what are your thoughts ?
@@markharris7715 if you can get an overwrap for the Bivvy you have then I would just go with that as the tap is a bit of a pain putting up if there is any wind. But it will give you more coverage.
Can you fit a 750ml bottle of wine laying down in the 12L Coolabox? I mainly want something small, to take on roadtrips, and store any bottles of wine or beer, that we buy to take home.
@@josephsaldana9503 I don’t know sorry I don’t drink wine .
Ps .the XD is taller .
@@mb-xl5jg yes it’s in one of my other videos
@carpfishingthings-ny9go I also have the porch ,in which I have fitted my log burner!! I've been using that for 2 years now in the XD. It works great in there ,as I was using my log burner in my previous setup before that . Think I'm one of the first guys doing it , lol . Guys when I'm fishing, ask me all the time. Is that a log burner in your porch? lol . Think it's catching on . Well, good luck with your vids ,they are very enjoyable to watch. Thank you .
The XD comes with storm poles ,im surprised they dont supply with that one . The fox i better hands down . Cant beat it as its got the inner dome ,which i dint have to use and then you fit the other ground sheet ,which it comes with .hands down better.
Lost me when you had a mallet of the floor😂

Hi! I have already watched a few tent videos, for example Prologic Inspire SLR Bivvy, NASH TITAN HIDE CAMO PRO XL, TRAKKER TEMPEST RS. But this tent is still a little closer to me in terms of solutions. However, I noticed one thing with all the types, that they didn't put in a rain window that can be fixed with Velcro, or maybe it escaped my attention. in heavy rain, if you close everything because the rain comes in through the mosquito net, then we can no longer see what is going on outside, because we have to close ourselves and sit in a closet. how do you solve this? You made a good video. Best regards, Tibor
The frontier comes with 3 doors one is a clear door if you put this on inside of the solid door it will act as a window. The other two doors are solid which I have on in the video and the 3rd is a mozzie mesh door
